How do you store your juicy charms/jewelry?

tatertot, WOW! I love ALL of your charms. You have so many rare ones. I love the "You're a Peach" charm. Sure enough you have some of the most coveted charms. Amazing. How many years did it take you to collect all of those?

I realized I have not taken pics since I stopped storing my charms in the shadowboxes and my collection has grown quite a bit since then. I've been keeping them in small divided trays with covers inside a large cabinet. I store some of my Juicy jewelry inside a few of the shadowboxes now.

Tatertot, great charm candy!

Do you like them better stored in the trays? TIA

@AEGIS, yes I save the boxes. Not that I am planning to sell them, but I don't have a daughter or nieces that are interested in them to give away. So my husband or son will probably have to deal with them when I'm gone - and I have told them if they sell them or give them away, the boxes should go with them.

I keep them in plastic tubs in the basement. If we would have to move with a place with no storage I am not sure what I would do. Actually I just sorted a bunch of them last weekend because the 1 tub was full. So now I have a tub for gold charm boxes, and another for silver charms/necklace/earring/bracelet boxes.

Also I rearranged the drawer, not finished with it yet but they were getting too crowded & jumbled.

@tatertot, don't know how I missed your photos before! Wow! You have a fantastic collection. Saw a lot of charms I had forgotten about, like the peanut and well...about 2 dozen others. LOL, too many to list here.

@YouAreAlways, hmm, the green Christmas tree is by the sleigh but I'm thinking that's not the one you meant. Perhaps you are asking about the 2008 dreidel that says SOOOOOO JUICY?

Thank you so much ladies for all of the kind comments:heart::flowers: I'm sorry it took me so long to post, somehow I missed that the thread updated:shame:

I've been collecting since 2005 I think, so quite a long time. Most of the rare charms I've managed to locate just in the last year or so though. I've had good luck with being patient and finding most for good prices.

Thanks so much Katie! Honestly I think I liked them best in the shadowboxes but they took up so much room and were so heavy that it wasn't practical. Storing them in the boxes does make it very easy to get them out to "play" with and to switch out though.

do you ladies like to keep the boxes?

I never keep my boxes. I think I have a few of the tagged boxes for my more rare charms but overall I toss them or pass them on to collectors I know who can use them. I used to keep them all but between the boxes for those and all my bags it was just too much.

You should most definitely grab the Peanut if you get a chance, it's such a cutie with the little "nuts" inside:yes:

I'm loving your collection shots, Tater! Definitely a lot of rare charms in there! I didn't realize you had gotten all 3 of the pastel yorkies. They look so good together!!!

I keep my charms in the storage units with drawers, so I don't need the boxes, but it is nice knowing I have the tagged boxes if I ever need them. I save the boxes stored in the garage, but they take up a lot of room.

I feel the same way. I don't really have a need for the boxes, but I like knowing that I have them. Mine are currently stored in a couple of long, skinny rubbermaid tubs, which slide easily underneath of my bed.

Had to upgrade my shadow box since I was running out of space, quickly! I love the distressed look of this one. My cellphone didn't really pick up the colors too well but it's white, light blue and gold. Lots of space to grow into

They look so nice Sparkill! I love the finish on your shadowbox as well, so pretty:flowers: I'm excited now that I've paired down my collection so much I can use my shadowboxes again as well, I always love to be able to see them:girlsigh:

I have a jewellery box for all cheaper jewelleries I purchased from malls etc.

I consider Juicy Couture an expensive item(s) so after each wear, I store them back to their original boxes.
