How do you store your Chanel Handbags?

I have all my CF store open, no crease, and bag feel new after many year. Before this, I experience stored them close make the bag feel soft and worn, not the feeling of the new bag that recently left the boutique.

I store my classic flap open, in the dust bag, and on its side. My dust bag has the extra flap for the chain, so I separate the chain from the bag as much as I can. I also leave the dust bag open so there is airflow and I rotate which side it’s on every once in an while

I sometimes leave the flap open if I feel like the sides of the flap is starting to flare, otherwise I close the flap and leave the bag standing while it’s on in rotation on my shelf. Once I rotate a bag out for a season change then I store them with flap closed, stuffed, felts in place, in dust bag, lying down in the box.

I don’t mind either the indentation or crease, that only means the bag it’s been ❤️. I do leave them unlocked and other times opened. I see creases when the flap is open in some of my CFs, when they are close I can’t see the creases. I used to store them inside their dust bags with chain in one part bag in the other, I now leave them visible through my glass doors, outside their dust bags unlocked.

for those of you who display your classic flaps outside of the dust bag and upright sitting on its base, do you leave the flap unclasped or clasped?
Clasped. With the chain tucked in but not wrapped. Sometimes, if I feel like the bag needs to be stuffed, I tuck dustbags inside. My new dressing room will have UV glass display doors, but now the shelves are open. The dressing room gets air circulation, but no sunlight

i've seen some people using felt to wrap their chains and to put in between the flap during storage. i was not provided any during purchase. anyone has felt recommendations on where to purchase or is any felt OK? my closest arts and craft store only has 100% polyester felt.

My lambskin flap came from the boutique with tissue paper on the straps and it’s been fine stored like that.
