how do you store your bags during summertime?

Unfortunately There’s not a place where there is a ventilation. So for the leather chain part, I should keep them hanging out of the dust bag, correct?

Sorry if I was not clear, but I meant that I would not put any part of the bag in the dust bag, that includes the bag itself.

As in, I personally, would not put a bag in its dust bag or the strap or chain in the dust bag.

If you do not have a single place in your house with ventilation, then you are risking your bag with getting mold.
Since you turn the AC on when you get home, that should help, because it's better to have some AC than none.

But it also depends on how often you leave the bag at home. When you bring a bag out to use more, it gets exposed to more air in general and is less likely to get mold.

I'm sorry if I wasn't very helpful, here are a couple of other threads that may help you out better:

I live in San Antonio and it has been over 100 degrees for several days this past month. We leave the air con running all year round. If not I am scared our house might get damaged. I do not store my bags in dust bags because I heard that your bags need to breathe. I just use the dust bag if I am traveling.

How do you deal with that heat?!
Is it humid as well?
Where i live is hot (high 80s to mid 90s) but the high humidity scares me more since I have patent leather bags. Not sure if to use those now or wait till fall.

We usually do not go outside. I remember our aircon went out and we stayed at my dad's house until they came to repair it. It is humid where it is really hot and you will be left feeling sticky if you go outside.

Is it safe to tuck in my Chanel classic flap bag leather chain inside the dust bag along with the bag in the dust bag? During the summer is hot and humid. I turn the AC OFF when I’m at work but when I’m home I turn it on. Should I be ok?
I have the same concern as well, may I know how hot temp wise cab your closet be? I think people who live in Asian country wouldn't run ac 24/7 and they just rely on dehumidifier

I don’t have an indoor temperature check thing so I’m not quite sure but outside has been 100-104 F lately.
wow that's hot! May I know where do you live? I usually leave all my bags out with no dustbag as it will trap heat and moisture, you should probably just leave it out, the only downside is that you have to regularly dust them
