How do you guys do your hair...

my hair is wavy and i like to blow dry it straight but the one thing i cant find it something to keep it non frizzy when i dont blow dry...i have used sooooo much stuff that nothing seems to work...anyone know really a good product to use?

I try to use products that don't make my hair too oily, and lately I found Aveda's light elements - Finishing Solution. the description on it is"infuses all hair types with weightless light hold, absorbing oil and taming flyaways." I like it because it works on my straight hair pretty well without leaving it heavy - I think they have a stronger one for more wavy hair, you can check that out. I actually went to the store and tried it on before I bought it - you could do that to see if it works on your hair.

Another one I tried and really liked is Redken Satinwear...leaves my hair nice and smooth too.

i have longish wavy hair... sometimes ill take a flat iron to it and have it straight.. other times when i cant be bothered straightening ill just put a whole bunch of L'Oreal Tec Liss Control in it... this is the best non-frizz product i have found... and ill also put some Osis Bounce to create more of a curl to it....
Curly/Wavy hair is so much more feminine and flattering than poker straight!

i have natural ringlets down to about 1/3 of the way down my back, so my hair sort of styles itself. i just put in a little product and let it dry naturally. it's down as much as possible because i think it's one of my best features, but when it's dirty and i don't have time to wash it, i'll put it in a loose ponytail.

mine is the same long ringlets occasionally I blow it out and it's almost down to my waist. I have bangs I am growing out and I'll grab the hair in the front and the sides in front of my ears and put it back with a nice barette-I want to pick up the Inclusion barette that would look COOL, other times I'll do a pineapple pony on the top of my head. Every now and then I think about cutting it but I've been growing it for 4 years all I get done is a trim and layers for shape, I know I would regret chopping it all off.

Ditto!! I have thick wavy hair almost down to my collar bone (man, I could do BIG hair really well in the 80s, you should see my sorority pix, LOL)...but nowadays it's an hour to dry, product, flat iron. And when it's humid, fuggedaboudit.

I'm looking for new ideas too...got inspired watching Blow Out last spring
 You guys are awesome to say such sweet things about my hair. But I use a staightener too to get it to look ok. I have a lot of problems if I don't use a flat-iron -- my hair is just kind of wavy.

I'm always so jealous of those people who just wake up w/ awesome hair!!!!

My avatar is my hair, although I needed a hair cut at the time, so it doesn't look as wild as it usually does.

I used to have really long hair, but two pregnancies ago..the farther along I got, the less I wanted to mess with it...then I switched departments in my casino and became a blackjack dealer, so I cut it all off pixie-cut.

Although I miss my long hair, I get a TON of compliments on my hair from all my customers, and it's actually helped me make money. The more I am 'noticed', the more likely someone will walk over and play at my table, or they will remember 'the tiny little white girl with wild red hair'.

It's much easier to take care of, and makes me look so much younger than almost 33! :shame:

i have the same hair length.. shoulder length and straight. Lately ive started to put it half up then twist it a little then with a hairclip so the up part kind of fans out and down. Beats a plain pony and ok in this hot weather when i dont feel like leaving my hair down .... got quite a bit of compliments, u should try it! =)

invest some money in a flat iron and curling iron (or a 2-in-1) and experiment with your hair!! it's fun  when i have free time, i love styling my hair. i have thick, long, layered wavy hair so i find i have an easy time going curly, wavy, or straight. i love the farrah fawcett loosely curled look. all you need is a curling iron with a thick barrel and a finishing spray!

I wish I can do that...i forgot to mention that my hair is not very soft, so I tried the twist up thing and let it hang down...but it ends up not hanging down, more like sticking up and out (a little stiff). maybe I need to figure out a way to make my hair softer.

hehe...stupid question, I never curled my hair before...do you spray first and curl? or do you curl then spray?
