How Do you Feel When an Item You Paid Retail 4 Ends Up at the Outlet?

I take it as a "win some/loose some" type thing. I've heard of some bags I've paid full price for showing up at someone's outlet for much less (like the embossed book tote TejasMama mentioned), though luckily, in most cases, I haven't seen them at the outlet near me, so I realize that just like that tote, not everything shows up at every outlet. Plus, I realize that for every bag I've bought at full price, I've found a deal on another at an outlet for a lot less, so it all seems to even out. For example, while I get annoyed that I paid full price for the aforementioned book tote, I did score a whiskey legacy shoulder bag on final sale for $170, so I focus on that deal!

If a bag is worth it to me, it's worth it to me and I try not to get hung up on it since outlets are so hit and miss.

Mostly Outlet Shopper here too! I have picked up a few things for myself at the f/p store but I enjoy the HUNT at the outlet. It really does not matter, if i love it "Price is not an issue"--thinking about what i could of brought with the extra money would takes the joy out of buying the things I love.

I wish I could be a "99%" outlet shopper! The nearest outlet to me is 3 hours away. I would make a run about every month if I wasn't so busy with 2 teenagers each playing 2 sports...

I really only get there about once or twice a year, but it is SO much fun!

I don't mind very much because I usually buy extras in the outlet. For example, umbrellas, wristlets, etc. I usually buy the bags I want from the boutique because I am into instant gratification. Also, the outlet near me doesn't have any signature bags except for returns so can't buy those.

If I really loved a bag & didn't want to miss it, I would pay full price for it. If I'm just looking around at the outlet & find something I like/love, then I feel like I got a great deal! However, I do think there should be some certain timeframe between selling something at a boutique & then selling it at an outlet. Three months? I don't know, but if it was within a month or so, I'd probably be a bit annoyed.

However, as I said, if I totally LOVED the bag & didn't want to miss out, I'd pay full price & try not to be that upset if it ended up at the outlet. As someone said earlier, stuff goes on sale all of the time at dept. stores, it's just the chance you take when you pay full price for anything!
