How do you feel about Saffiano leather?

Indifferent. I don't hate it or love it. My current wallet is a compact safiano. It has worn very well with daily use for the last 5 months.

Having owned several saffiano bags, I can honestly say that as hard as I tried I simply couldn't get past the texture and feel of saffiano leather. That is not to say that they aren't beautiful bags. Simply a matter of personal preference.

I have 3 saffiano leather bags that I have "not been too careful with". It has been so easy to keep clean, just wipe with baby wipes or even a paper towel with water. While I love soft, squishy, buttery leather, I have to say I am impressed by how easy it has been to wear the saffiano bags too.

I join everyone here except very recently I bought my mother an MK bag made of Saffiano leather for its style. It's a knock-off of the LV Totally style which I love. Had it come in a smooth, soft leather I woud have been happier but truthfully, it is holding up beautifully and she hasn't stopped wearing it since.

I have this in Aqua - personally I think if it was softer leather it wouldn't look as good, it needs to be a bit stiff to hold the shape. My other MK is a Selma which is even boxier and again I don't think it would work as well in soft leather.

Dislike it and would never; don't think it is worth my money. It totally doesn't say luxury to me and I'm all about the leather for my bags.

I prefer saffiano leather only on wallets, not on my bags.

Don't like saffiano leather. They use low grade leather for it with a lot of defects so after the process you will not be able to see it.
If you looking for smth more durable for everyday wear i will recommend coated canvas.
Moynat and Goyard have a great ones. Also MCM and Burberry

I never used to like saffiano leather and would never have considered a bag made out of it. However, I am loving my Rebecca Minkoff mini avery crossbody. Something about the structure and sturdiness of the leather just works so nicely for a crossbody.

These are massively functional and i agree with the other poster i don't think it would work as well in a softer leather... some bags just suit the structure of Saffiano.
