How do you feel aboout carrying a mini bag

On an office day, I carry a regular sized bag. On weekends, I am able to wear mini bags now. Come to think of it, I really don't need all those stuff I carry to work since most are 'what if' items. I can actually stock them at the office. Since 1 or 2 years ago, I have been having neck pains when I carry heavy bags, so I really try to lighten my load. A smaller bag also tends to be lighter than a bigger bag.

If it gets down to it, I think I can carry a mini bag to work (contents-wise). But I feel a regular sized bag is more professional looking.

I'm short, but this is what it's all about. If you can wear it from a functional perspective and like it, that's all that ought to matter. How boring things would be if we all had the same style.
+1

Haha, I never imagined that tall girls would have problems with small bags! I guess everyone has their own cross to bear! I'm sure you look great.
Thanks, doll!
Mini bags are one thing...finding pants long enough is another! [emoji57]

I like them for church or parties but for work days I need a regular size one (need a book or Kindle for my long commute, umbrella, lunch, full size wallet, phone, etc). Whenever I see anyone on a work day with a mini bag, they always have a backpack or tote and to me that defeats the purpose - I prefer to only carry one bag at a time.

Not me. Another pack animal here. Living urban/public transit life, my basics require the size of a Bal city or Velo or Givenchy pandora. I also prefer to have a larger bag w/ less in it than a smaller bag stuffed to gills, for that yummy slouch and drape. For work, it's one of those, with extra larger tote on most days. I've fiddled around a lot with bag sizes- one big one w/ everything vs one smaller/ one larger. Abandoned the one-larger idea. The one personal bag + work tote seems to be working. (Now, as we prepare for landing, please check your seat belts and return seats and tray tables to their full and upright position).

I had to laugh...I'm 5'10" and have bought a couple mini bags for dinners out at night. Love the size and fits my needs. I had to overcome the "Barbie Syndrome" (tiny bags on tall bodies) but now I don't give a damn. Works for me...................
I'm 5'9" and I love my mini bags! I have my eye on numerous mini bags: Gucci Mini Swing, Saint Laurent Sac de Jour or Fendi Mini Peekaboo or petite 2jours
