How do you display your Coach bags or store them?

This is pretty much how I store my bags, too. Dust bags, dark closet, room temp. I've had great success with my patent bags not yellowing over the years. I like how you've labeled your bags.

Thanks! Paper tags and safety pins from Walmart. Cheap and easy. lol! I started out doing something more elaborate, but it became more trouble than it was worth. I'd decide I no longer wanted a bag and sell it, so I quit going to so much trouble tagging them.

I do something very much like this. I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased a couple packages of multi colored foam sheets. I find the color that coordinates with the bag and cut out a decent sized rectangle. On the rectangles I use a special marker that writes on foam. I jot the name of the bag. Then I use a safety pin and fix it onto the dust bag. Then I store them by color, separating fall/winter from the spring/summer so I can at least know which closet to go to, to grab a bag. I store them on racks in our large walk in closet as well as another walk in closet in a spare bedroom. I can find them very easily, since the big foam piece on the bag helps me find the color I'm looking for.

Now here's where I admittedly get really compulsive. I keep a pic file of all my bags, sorted by color and download the pics to my I phone. So when I'm getting ready, I take a look at my black bags, or pink ones or red, or whatever goes best with what I'm wearing, and then go to grab it, which is so much easier now that I used the foam tags in the coordinating color.

Since I started doing this, I also take the Iphone pic and make the bag I am wearing that day my phone's wallpaper.

Yep, call me scarface. I'm an addict.....:p:p:p Pretty soon I'll be cutting up leather on a mirror and snorting it up my nose with a straw. LOL

This is a great idea - keeping pics on your phone. I find I'm forgetting what I have so this might help when I'm rushing in the morning.

This is the elfa system from the container store. I purchased some sweater boxes to store some of my bags in.
Positives-you can see the bags through the little window and they will not get
dusty
Negatives- they initially have a bit of a glue smell so you have to air them out.
They get expensive when you purchase a bunch of them. My logic
Is that I'll use my bags more so I won't keep buying new ones.:D

Love your organization and your collection. Thanks for sharing.

 My dream is to be this organized!!!! ahah I am such a mess right now and the problem is that I have too much space (i.e. the spare bedroom), so I just have stuff all over the place! I'm going to save these pictures and use them as motivation! Thank you so much for posting!!

Oh, I would love to have too much space! Before I organized the closet I categorized everything. That way I knew how much hanging space, shelving and drawer space I needed.

Love how you use those sweater boxes! I initially looked for something like that too and didn't even think about using the sweater boxes on their sides! DUH! I love the Container Store website, it's a good thing there's not one around me. I am a totally dedicated storage container freak and have been for years.

I spend way too much time in there whenever I go!
I do need to clarify that the the sweater box is the largest size. Those can fit the large duffles, rorys and bigger sized bags.
The shirt box is the size I have most of and it fits the small Sophias, Molly and other medium sized bags.
The shoe box is the small size and it does work great for clutches or small bags.

Um, Treasured? Can I raid your closet? Just one shelf I swear! Lol! I'd love to get my hands on your shelf of woven and criss cross bags!

Sure, come on over! I just put out my woven, criss cross and lace Sophias for spring. I have always limited myself to no more than two of any style bag. That went out the window when I discovered Sophias! I have a bit of a problem!:p
I just got my third Carrie too....

Thank you! I spent a very hot August weekend putting it together a few years ago before we installed air conditioning!
I love the container store as much(maybe more) than the Coach store!
I am running out of room to buy any more bags, I have too many as it is!
My DH has the other side of the closet and the wooden armoire at the end, plus 3/4 of the underbed space so I'm out of luck! :p

I love your closet! I need some of those sweater boxes...what a great idea!

Thank you so much! I will repeat what I put in my last post, as I buried part of my response in the other poster's quote!
The sweater boxes are the largest and will fit large duffles and some larger bags.
The shirt boxes are great for the small Sophias and Molly's and other medium sized bags
The shoe boxes are fine for clutches and small bags.

They do get expensive but occasionally go on sale. I got free shipping. They do not collapse so they came in enormous boxes and I couldn't get out my front door! :D

After storing all of my bags in my walk in closet in their dust bags for a long time I decided to try something different. I found that I wasn't using a lot of my bags even if I knew what was inside them!
There is no window so I don't need to worry about sunlight. The closet is off the bedroom not the bathroom so I think the humidity is ok. Yes, they will get dusty but I'm hoping to rotate them more so they won't! I also switch out some bags winter/summer. There are some in dust bags under my bed that I won't use until next fall.
AWESOME storage! I need to show these pics to my DH...He will then realize that I don't have ENOUGH bags & need to catch up to some of you gals! :)

Thanks for the info. I might have to buy some of those so I will be able to stack them. I'm almost out of shelf room and am too anal to pile them on top of one another.

Most of my bags are of the Sophia size....she is my downfall too. I have 6 and only want 1 more. Since can't find her, I guess she my HG.....Sophia Criss Cross. *sigh*
Anybody come across one, please pm me!

Wow, I love this closet!!!

I store them ;) I had an open shelf thingy in my narrow walk in closet which held everything nicely, but I had to keep them all in dust covers. Even though I had little trouble figuring out what was what, I just didn't like that I couldn't see my colorful pretties.. So I went on the hunt for something with doors that I could easily open and see everything I have at once. I found some short cabinets @Home Depot that weren't exactly what I was looking for, but were the closest thing I could find after checking 3-4 stores and online. Also, I wasn't willing to spend a lot since these would just be closet storage, not for in the bedroom. If we had the space in our bedroom I would definitely have preferred a nicer display cabinet. Unfortunately, I did have to downsize my collection to get everything in the cabinets. But I'm completely ok with that since I have a few recent FOS purchases that I really just bought for their awesome prices, not because I loved them ;) Anyway, here are a few pics of my new purse storage.. (Might have to post a few times to get them all up):
