I keep my bags stored in closets, sitting on shelves and stuffed to maintain their shapes. They stay in their dust-bags, and I make sure light dust bags go with my light and patent bags (to avoid staining from the brown dustbags over time). If I get a bag from the outlet that doesn't come with a dust bag (thankfully, this is rare), I store the bag in a white cotton pillow case that I fold close. I'm very careful to keep my bags out of sunlight when I'm not wearing them. I have several closets dedicated to my Coach collection- one stores Madison, one stores Kristin/Sydney/Alexandras, and one is a mish-mash (legacy, old hampton lindsey, maggies, peyton). This helps me keep semi-organized. When I someday have a child and need to create a nursery, I imagine some of my bags will need to be sold just to clear out a closet... :girlwhack:
I'm glad to say that the majority of my bags look the same as they did the day I bought them, just a little slouchier/worn-in.
KATEV:
The only thing that worries me about the Real Simple Purse organizer (SO cool! Great idea, whoever thought of it) is that if the purse was particularly large/bulky.... say, your blue Sydney flap, Katev.... the elastic might press too hard into the leather over time, and might create ridges or creases. I might be completely wrong about that, and maybe the organizer would be worth a shot (lord knows, a purse collector needs to make the most of her space! I'm totally out of storage space right now, so must sell if I want to buy just to maintain sanity and not become a bone fide hoarder).
Also, every now and then you see a thread where some enterprising household pest has caused damage to a purse- spiders, etc. I think dust bags are important for this reason. I think the purse organizer would be okay if you also kept the bags in their dust bags, but I would never store a well-loved bag just out in the open (like in the pic on BB&B website).
Good luck!
I was just considering this the other day. For now my bags are in their covers on the top shelves of the closet. I thought about just getting bookshelves that are adjustable to display some bags but saw some better options on amazon.
Katev do an amazon search for the real simple and you should hopefully find a ton of reviews on it. Hopefully that can help if not too many people here have tried it.
Sorry for such big pictures! I have no clue how to make them smaller!
I like to be able to see my bags so I keep them on display.
I store my LV's and accessories in this wooden cabinet (found it at Kmart).

I found this coat rack on Amazon that I hang my Coach bags on.

I'm like you, I don't want to box mine up. I like to see them when I go in my closet. If I see them often it helps me to remember what I have so that I don't buy anything too much like another bag (unless it's on purpose).
Here's what mine look like:

I honestly don't change them everyday but I still like to see them.haha, cute, they look like little dresses hanging! That's an easy way to do it if you change your bag everyday! I sooo don't have the extra closet space for that right now!I plan on moving soon and one of my requirements is at least one extra bedroom to turn into a giant closet and vanity room!
