What about those Kleenex wet wipes? Those may be ok for an occasional clean depending upon the leather.

They are mild and I've used them too. Doesn't ruin the H leather.
Good to know. I have a stash saved up. Luckily I am a natural born stockpiler so I had my stash of bleach, wipes, and sanitizers before the whole world realized they needed to disinfect their lives. lol
same. fomites, flush with lid down, wash hands for at least 15 seconds with soap, shower upon reaching home, do not touch public anything if possible, sneeze into tissue, wear a mask if sick (in Singapore before covid people felt "stupid" for doing that and now I HOPE they learn it is essential to not spread even "harmless" flu to others), disinfect phones nightly with an alcohol swab. for years no one took me seriously. i feel like that old guy in independence day (the movie)

Yeah, me too. Doing the same things. I've always wished we could move to Singapore. Better weather, better taxes, awesome food! Now more than ever
People in Germany do not take it as seriously as it should be taken (my perspective). The weather has been absolutely glorious and everyone, their wife, pet, second cousin and his wife are outside
It makes social distancing kind of difficult. This unfortunate disease will transform societies. For example, I really feel a need for washable handbags
I wonder what the next few months will bring.
All my H are Sheltering in their H Condo at home~ I bring out the good old plastic totes from Laduree! I feel better about ruining the plastic coating with disinfectant instead of H leather~~
My H bags are decorating my home, lending needed moral support, but not venturing outdoors. Outside I carry a nylon Dooney Burke crossbody. The whole thing, including the leather strap can be soaked in soap and water without harm.
That depends on where they live or happen to be at the moment. In car centric environments, maybe not so much. I imagine that you won't spot Hermès on public transport in LA, but the chances are much higher in Paris and New York.
^^^^^^ None of this is proven as yet, particularly as we now know it CAN be aerosolized. Also remember how swiftly the virulence drops, so for instance while they HAVE found viral trace on hard surfaces a week or more later, it may not be infective.

That graphic from WHO was based on this study (.https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2004973 ) and was meant to educate people. While a lot is still unknown with this virus, it won’t hurt to be careful - keep distance, wash hands, disinfect surfaces...

may I ask the origin of this info graphic? It's consistent with what I've heard, but they also said that the tests were done in laboratory conditions, which made the virus more stable.
