How do we all feel about Monogram Vernis?

I love them! They're gorgeous and do well in the rain hehe. Just keep newspapers and pens away from the bag because they'll transfer.

My new perle brentwood is working out, I use it every day, but I am very careful with it. In my car I won't even leave it on the passenger seat without a white paper towel underneath it. If it rains I don't take it out. But I love it, especially when snoody types happen to catch sight of it and realize - yes thats real. It was sitting in my closet for 6 weeks and I finally broke down and decided to enjoy it.

LOVE it in accessories, hate it in bags. I have a red vernis agenda I got about 2 years ago as a Valentines day gift (get it, valentines day, red, love? lol) and I use the crap out of it - it goes in whatever bag I'm using for school and I throw it around with my books. It looks like new.

i totally love the Vernis line... i think that will be my next bag - something... not sure but it will be a bag

I have a love-hate relationship with the vernis line. I love the lighter colors and especially the discontinued colors like lavender and marshmallow but they are a p-a-i-n to maintain. A pain.

If you have smaller purses, your vernis small accessories is almost bound to have color transfers from the interaction with the lining of your small handbag or with other items within the handbag.

If you carry larger purses, the problem seem to be less prominent. And that's why you have varying accounts of how "durable" vernis is.

I still vernis though, but only in small pieces.

I have a Perle Reade PM. Its the only LV bag that I haven't sold. I just love it too much. It's alright to maintain. Just have to make sure to not have it leaning against anything.

I have a vernis reade pm and a wallet the small ones. and i jsut bought a french purse and i have to say i havent had any provblems with it ( i got a pen mark on the reade pm) but no color transfer issues as such,...

i think its a great line that really stands out in a subtle LV way
