Well the heat is an issue (leaving it in yoru car during a hot sunny day) b/c it may become discolored (turn yellow in lighter colors and more prone to color transfer), the rain and snow I would assume would watermark the vachetta leather (just like any other patina on a vuitton).

The perle roxbury is so amazing in person! :love:

I've just purchased a beige ludlow wallet in vernis from the marketplace. Do you think it would be okay to have it inside my Spy or would the inside lining color transfer over to the vernis? Now I'm worried about how careful I have to be with it.

I love the vernis line, but I end up enjoy the smaller items of it moreso. Such as the cles, wallets and such. I think they are such a great compliment to a mono bag.

I love vernis too, and I am loving the smaller items as well. The biggest item in vernis that I can do is reade pm. And I love vernis french purses, I am crazy about them I have them in almost every color (bronze, red, peppermint, fuchsia, framboise)..

Heat can certainly play damage to vernis. I live in hot weather where the humidity level is high all year round. I make sure I store my vernis in the dusters and check on them often.

I love them! They're gorgeous and do well in the rain hehe. Just keep newspapers and pens away from the bag because they'll transfer.

And once again here are mine: (it's one of my favorite lines, as you can tell lol)

Vernis is my favorite line although I don't own any yet. I want the Houston in fuschia and framboise. I can't decide which one and I can't compare them anymore really cause I have to see both Houstons side by side to know what I want. Looks like I might have to settle for framboise.

Do you mean indigo, noisette, and perle? Is the indigo a bright blue (or dark)? I would LOVE to get a roxbury... I think they'd make such a cute little tote/clutchish sort of bag (I probably won't use the shoulder strap). Does anyone have one???

I love the vernis line. I agree that it isn't as delicate as some might think. I recently purchased my first two vernis items, a noisette reade PM and a matching key holder. I've used the key holder every day, in and out of several bags, and it still looks brand new. I really want a perle item for summer :love:

I really like the vernis.. I don't own anything in that line, but I just saw the hot pink papillon in vernis... it is to die for! It's on my wish list, but then again, my list is pretty long =D

I love the Vernis line and hope more accessories will be made. Just bought a framboise Ludlow as an everyday, small wallet. Delicious looking! It's not as recognized as mono pieces.

I love it, but I'm just so afraid of colour transfer. I prefer the lighter colours, which is more prone to it as well. I had a ludlow which I've sold to a fellow PF member, and it was gorgeous but the wallet was too small for me. It's not to say that I wouldn't buy another vernis piece though !
