How Can I Remove Stains on Vachetta Leather Strap of Galliera PM?

Hi Everyone,

Could someone offer me some advice on how to remove these stains on the vachetta leather strap of my Galliera PM?

I've purchased the bag preloved so I am not sure what the stains are. Do they look like water spots?

Personally I'd let them blend in as the patina develops as it's going to mark anyway unless you never intend to use it. If you start cleaning marks off every time one appears then you're going to end up with a very uneven and patchy patina.

If you're intent on removing them then you'd need to clean the entire strap to produce an even appearance and there are lots of threads on the board about that so just do a quick search.

Hi I saw on youtube that you can actually clean it with softgum from Collonil . If you have a small spot on vanchetta. They do it in Japan. Soft gum you can order from ebay or your local shoestore . You need to try it on small area first. GOOD LUCK
