i have both (though not mini size) i dont prefer one over the other, they serve different purposes! some people do find halzan easier to get in and out because the strp of the bolide can be in the way when you fish for your purse, but that depends on how you wear the bolide, and it never really bothers me
i like them both!

I love the shape and zipper of the Bolide but the Halzan intrigues me. Thanks for your input!

I love that the mini bolide is in Chèvre! But you’re right, the Bolide 27 and Halzan 31 are better sizes.

Maybe I should let fate decide and see which one shows up first in a color I want.:heart:

Just bought gold Evelyne and Halzan is next on my list.
I love the red - it is just so fun - but I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger on etoupe.....the greige seems to be a good classic color --- any advice on going FUN (in my case, rouge) vs PRACTICAL (etoupe)? I would get the 31 (momma to 3 littles).

FYI Rouge Grenat won't be available for now. I usually see more brown & blue colors in Halzan. You should also consider etain as well since you have a gold bag. Etain is more grey than etoupe. Here's a pic of my gold & etain Halzan together.

Thx for the input! I love your etain - i agree the Etoupe might be too much in the brown family given my new gold Evelyne. There is a rouge casaque halzan that I’ve been eyeing also but an etain would be a good contender if it were available....

I think etoupe is a great color on a halzan, if i didnt have 3 other bags in etoupe already, i would certainly get halzan in etoupe

it is a great neutral and you can always make a halzan fun by tying a twilly with it
Here is an example from me of a twilly on barenia halzan
