I think she's doing it to make money, but the idea that an 80-90 year old man who has a harem of women 50-60 years younger than him at all times is abusive doesn't seem that outlandish to me. Definitely some shadiness going on there.

She's a little too dressed up for Disneyland IMO with that dress.
so let me get this straight - she was soooooo desperate to be his wife, begging for a baby from a man that wanted her to do drugs and all this other crap...
now she's has a baby and is married (by the way has the husband gone to jail, they are never photographed together).
oh wait, I know she needs money. the thirst is real...
Doesn't mean what Hef did isn't true. I believe every word, the man is a sick F%&k. I don't care that he walks around in his pj's with a smile on his face acting all non chant as if he's such a nice guy -- in reality he isn't.
Isn't Hef having money problems too? Seems Hef is the one that has been parched for the past 50 years with his antics more than anyone. I can't believe he's still alive, he utterly disgusts me as human being.

I believe this 100%. Hugh Hefner probably sought out girls with addictions and other issues because they were easier to control.
I'm very interested in this book.
I feel like he has been having money problems for years and years and years.
I believe her. It doesn't seem like a healthy environment to be in. You get to live somewhere for free, have things paid for you, but you're sleeping with a man who's old enough to be your grandfather, along with a bunch of other girls.
You're an adult, yet you have a curfew. Another adult is basically controlling your life. I'm sure the novelty of living in the Playboy Mansion wore off very quickly.
No sympathy for them, what so ever... you want to avoid working a real job? You pay the price.
Yes he liked addicts and poor both are easy to control(not put up a fight). He will supply them with whatever they want as long as they are obedient and then he can come off like he's "the good guy" by giving them lives that they could never have any other way. He "saved" kendra, supported Bridgets education, and gave Holly the Hollywood lifestyle.
Are you saying that it's justified to be abused by an adult if they're paying that person's bills? Would you say the same thing if it were a married couple, and one person was abusing the other?
I disagree. The way I see it, is yeah, these girls were trying to get by living off of an old guy by sleeping with him. But at the same time, it seems like these girls had other issues like addictions and codependency which I think Hugh Hefner purposely sought out and took advantage of. Not okay in my book even if he's financially supporting them.
How was she abused?
