I guessed you had some Dooney points in the mix. You got a great bag at an unbelievable price.

I hate the way Dooney and ILD do price 'posting'. You have to put an item in your cart,
add the promo, to see the true discounted price. Then if you look at another item,
the main pages still have the 'standard' price, the item page may or may not have
the true discounted price for other colors. Not that I mind looking at the colors, but a really great
price can get me to consider an item or color I might have just skipped over.
Well, maybe that's not so bad. It's not as if I need to snag every great price. :smile:

I may love Florentine leather and Alto, but pebbled leather is what I reach
for at least half the time. Dillen (and Portofino) are my favorite pebbled leathers
from Dooney. They were high quality, thick and soft.

LJ-I remember the Dillen and Portofino lines! I had a fuschia hobo from the Portofono line. That was some good, thick and meaty pebbles leather. This is when I look back and think, I should’ve saved the bags and not sold them. But I still probably wouldn’t reach for it today so what do I do? Has your ZZ come in yet?

No yet. I haven't seen a ship notice, so I'll check to see what's doing.
I've order 'a few' bags lately...(few=many), another coming today.

Yesterday I got my Alto... and it has to go back. The bag is beautiful,
but the leather on the front is wavy....as if it was stretched out of shape.
Texture and quality of leather is perfect.... don't know if the problem was
manufacturing or overstuffing. I hate returning items. But at least I have
until end of January si I can wait until after the holiday crush.

PF: my ZZ has disappeared it seems. It shows in the order summary on ILD, but
has disappeared from the order detail. The other item shipped.
Either it's been cancelled or their system is very strange.
This has happened before, so I'll give it a day or 2.
No sense calling (tried that, long hold).

Btw, my sister loves plaid so you and Southern Belle inspired me with your love of the zip zip, to get the Tartan zip for her for Christmas/birthday :) It's a long winter in the Midwest where she is. Tartan will be around until spring ha

Sorry I just saw this, already dropped off at UPS quickly for return. It was a dark gray color...just blah..nothing special....I don't need gray especially since I have black and navy. I did get my domed buckle satchel in Navy...regal! Love love love. Just an excellent piece. Lighter than clayton as well!
