I have a Medium Satchel in Bordeaux that is hands down the best Florentine leather I've ever experienced in any color or style, and my collection is large. That batch was heaven-sent. It had a powerful smell of glorious leather processing [i usually don't smell the famous Flo scent] and was butter-soft, like the underside of a rabbitskin coat or something.

That's why I have never used it! I don't want to contaminate its perfection. Sigh. The woes of a collector/leather-lover.

DD: I understand 'saving' something that is too special for fear of ruining it.
I've learned to try to enjoy things before they get too old (or I do), but old habits
are hard to change. I still 'age' new stuff for a while before I take it out of the house.

The only benefit to the current situation is I'm not going anywhere, so I can enjoy
every handbag as it sits on my dresser. I try to change several times a week. No worries
about rain or dirt or anything since the bags aren't going anywhere these days. :)

Here’s my Aqua zip zip. Nothing special but still wanted to share. I uploaded my unboxing on my YouTube channel:Ashley’s Closet, for anyone interested. Oh side note, I always look out of curiosity to see where each bag is made. Mine has a leather tag that says “assembled in Mexico”! Haven’t seen a tag like that in twelve years, since I bought my last signature tassel tote. I thought that was very interesting 199BAC90-494E-4A02-9A8B-2F372C968517.jpeg

Enjoy your new zip zip. I love the color. I have a rainbow of zip zip colors.... they are very
collectible. I don't have aqua or mint, but I have turquoise and sea foam, both in saffiano leather.
I like your pebbled leather better than my saffiano.

Oooh, I bet that Seafoam zip zip is a beaut! I’m sure the turquoise is a stunner too! I love anything in teal, turquoise, mint , Aqua or seafoam.

Ashley, great video! This Aqua is so pretty. You looked beautifully coordinated with your earrings etc.

So do I. And I try to resist buying every single shade and color variation that comes along.
As it is, I have 'a few' :). In days gone by, I needed to coordinate the exact color of my
handbag with my outfit (or so I thought). Now, I'm ok with shades of a color as long as
they look good to me. So.... I'm less tempted to buy a 4th or 5th handbag in the same color
palette, just to have the exact shades. I still buy them, but now it's to get a style I want and
because I love the color. :_ ')

I used to be the same way too. But I’ve found I’ve like different shades of a certain color in an outfit together, just like what you’re saying. I think it adds depth to an outfit.

Loved the video...want that black vinyl makeup bag.....great match with your earrings! I don't have any zip zip bags anymore....I was addicted and had to get rid of all of them. They are like chips...can't have just one.....great color!!!! .
