Holiday cheer this year

Ive started late to the usual holiday baking and shortened my list when I saw the lines in the post office and outside UPS and fedex. So, I ordered pairs of executive babkas (extra large to send to family and friends)

Babkas sound really delicious!
My baking got tweaked and also scaled back a bit, turns out there is a Covid breakout with a couple of our nieces, they are both early 30s very fit and so far thank goodness recovering without any nastiness. Bread hopefully tomorrow. Cooking really brings me joy always has and hopefully always will.

Here is was what was produced and gobbled up
Bialys as opposed to bagles for Christmas Morning, DH ate 3 he even melted butter for them :lol:

Biscotti dipped in chocolate with flaky sea salt, delicious with cinnamon tea and hot chocolate, because of the salt wine is a no go.

And something different, Mushroom Wellingtons. We dropped one off for my MIL and ate the other for Christmas dinner.
