Agreed +1000. they need to take a step back from the Photoshop - Hilary has a fit, strong body. No need to PS anything.

Just want to add, people of all shapes need not be PS'd to hell and back. As you get older you realise it's all smoke and mirrors but younger gals are seeing these images on newstands and may not know that all is not as it seems. (This is where good parenting/self-esteem comes in too btw).

How ironic that the magazine is featuring her talking about a time when she was too skinny and her body not being that healthy and how her body now is super healthy, toned and strong... yet they use a photoshopped picture of her on the cover where they have removed inches off her body and have her looking like the time she mentioned when she was too skinny. Hilary looks fantastic now, why Photoshop her picture?! God these magazines really get on my nerves photoshopping unnecessary things :pullhair:

Yes exactly, it's ridiculous. I'd love to know who it actually is that makes to decision for the photos to be photoshopped and for them to pretty much change the persons body completely... the photographer, the magazine editor, the celebrity or model themself?? I'm not completely against Photoshop, it's a clever and handy thing if someone has a blemish, a scar or something more that they want covered up or hidden, but when your completely changing an entire body that's when it's a problem for me.

I'm really annoyed that she is photoshopped. I really like her because her body is similar to mine in how it usually leans more muscular, than skinny similar to Hayden Panettiere. She looks unhealthy in this picture, kinda ironic as the magazine is called health

What a simple, honest interview. Truth is she was openly and heavily criticised by various blogs for not appearing a month after giving birth weighing 98lbs. I think she has a very nice body - it looks strong and athletic and suits her. We keep changing the ideal for women that it seems IMPOSSIBLE that any woman could ever be beautiful in her own skin. I think Hilary is beautiful and this was a good read. It's a pity they disproved her points by photoshopping her to look skinnier than the weight she's admitting she was malnourished at

The photoshopping will stop or lessen when women, in mass, stop buying those mags and start demanding such heavy use of the tool. It's really unfortunate they made her look nothing like the body she has on that cover.

Hilary Duff Gets Apology From Paparazzo She Called 'Disgusting'


Hilary Duff shares a smile while running errands on Saturday afternoon (November 29) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The day before, the 27-year-old actress called out a member of the paparazzi, saying: “These are the kind of grown men that stalk my two year old with their giant cameras at the park! It’s disgusting. please f*ck off.”

“I am a father myself. I understand the fact about her son, but her son was never my target at any point,” the photographer, named Jose, told Gossip Cop in an apology to Hilary. “I know this job isn’t a good choice but I am looking into other jobs where I can use my photographic skills but no luck… Being a paparazzi isn’t quite the happiest job anyone would say it is to have but its a living for a lot of people.”
He continued, saying: “I’m sorry… I’m not coming after [Hilary's] kids or anybody’s kids. The celebrities that have kids and that I have photographed have never had a problem except Hilary Duff today. First time I [have] ever seen her up close, and I have a lot of respect for celebrities.”

Hilary Duff rocks a chic sweater while doing some shopping at the Rockefeller Center Hallmark Gold Crown store on Monday (November 17) in New York City.
Over the weekend, the 27-year-old actress grabbed a ladies lunch in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood at [FONT=inherit !important][FONT=inherit ! important]Balthazar[/FONT][/FONT], where she was carded after ordering some alcohol.

“The waiter didn’t recognize her and when she ordered a glass of champagne, he carded her!” a source shared to People. “But she was super gracious about it.”
In case you didn’t know, Hilary is in the Big Apple to shoot her upcoming show Younger.
