I remember seeing an interview with her and two other actresses YEARS ago, and they were talking about what they tried to emphasize / de-emphasize in their bodies, and Hilary said that she had broad shoulders and a short neck, so she wore a lot of scarves.

That sounds like me, broad shoulders and short neck. Except scarves don't look good on my short neck haha. I guess her trick worked cause I never noticed her shoulders til now. Shrug.

I have almost the exact same body type as Hilary (5'2", short neck, broad shoulders, bulky legs), and it's great to see her embrace her body type and make it work for her in Hollywood!

"'Did she get a tummy tuck? Sometimes ( not always) when you get one your shape is more boxy/square afterwards. I noticed this with Angelina, Hilary, Jessica S etc.

I know several who have had them and half of them got more of a "square" shape now, others didn't so it can vary. Also have a friend who got a body lift and she is def more square or straight shape, her waist indent is gone, no hips etc.

I didn't think it was tucked, I thought it looked lipo'd… she has that overly flat look that some get with lots of lipo.

Hilary is pretty active I think she just bounced back by working hard naturally.

She is a bit boxy but I think she looks great. It appears that she took her time, dedicated herself and got in shape the good ol' fashioned way. Kudos to her. She has nice tone.

She has always had broad shoulders, right from the start. When she used to be a part of Lizzie McGuire, even then she had broad shoulders!

Lol especially when they look hot. And I don't see boxy at all... those are curves & muscles in my book. She has some naturally broad shoulders, but she has always had some nice curves IMO. I bet no straight man looks at her and thinks "boxy" lol.

Is it such a bad thing to say that someone has broad shoulders? I have the same features, people sometimes point it out (short legs, shoulders, big calves, huge head lol) and I don't cry or get offended over it. It's just the truth.
