I'm curious what others think about her roots, which are intended to be obvious. I can't decide what I think of them in the wedding pictures.

She is a rich actress and he's from a multi-millionaire family – everything is meant to be extremely elegant - but the two-tone hair doesn’t feel right to me... and I l LOVE darker roots when it's done on purpose. So I should love this.

I just wonder if she'll look back on her wedding photos and wish she had hair that matched? And not a blonde pouf on the top of her head? Maybe a wedding is not the time to be fashion forward?

What is everyone's opinion?

I feel like it is one of those situations (not saying it was!) whereupon the extension piece was picked out BEFORE she darkened her hair. Her hair is now darker all over (not just the roots) and although her real hair looks like slight gradual darkening as if there ARE roots there-regardless, her hair all over (even at the lightest point) is still waaay darker than that very blonde extension piece...so it looks very un-natural... I really don't like it. There are WAYS to doing the purposeful roots thing, most fail (LC, Ashlee simpson, Hil on her wedding day, etc...) but the way i think it looks good is like Jen A, Kristin C, Whitney port, etc...

I agree with BudgetBeauty. If they wanted a private affair they would have had one. Just like Jay and Bey, Tiger Woods, Brad and Jen (back in the day), and countless other high profile celebrities the have marriages, babies, surgeries and everything else without us seeing or knowing. The paps could have stayed in a tree all day every day and would have gotten nothing if that is what the couple wanted.

Well, obviously, they all made decisions that made them happy. I just don't buy that people would have camped out, harrassing the couple, to get footage of the wedding.

Agreed. Besides, is the media even checking for Hilary Duff like that anyway?

Her hair doesn't bother me. . . . naturally hair is darker at the roots and it's not like it was black and white.
That said, I'd have had a few strategically placed highlights around my face first. But it doesn't look "bad" to me.

I don't like the two tone hair!

It made it painfully obvious that her poof on her head was fake (weave)

maybe she was going for the "Queen" look? (lisa raye's hair is a good example)
