I think like someone mentioned before, they struck a deal w/ one magazine exclusively so that they could avoid paps invading their honeymoon/wedding from all different magazines.

Plus, I'm not going to lie, I'm a super private person but if I was offered a million bucks or so to share some pictures, I'd be all for it.

i think that the deal had alot to do with avoiding the pap's too!! i think it was very smart on their part and as my grandmother used to always say - don't be no fool!!!:graucho: if someone offered to pay for my $$$$$$ wedding and honeymoon and all they wanted was a few nice photo's then you better believe i would say okey-dokey!!

thanks michelleantonia!!!;)

If two of the biggest celebs in the world, Beyonce and Jay-Z can put on a secret wedding (and we STILL haven't seen a single picture from the wedding or reception), I'm sure Hilary could have, too. Just sayin'. lol.

I know I wouldn't give up the details of a very private event for some money just because it's offered to me. That's just not me. If I were a celeb, I would never voluntarily invite press into my life in that capacity.

the difference is that one couple wanted it private and the other did not. it's their decision to make on what works for them. i would rather have them get their pics and story and be done with it. instead of camping outside where we live because everyone knew there was a wedding taking place.

Paps are always hiding in trees. lol. They hide wherever they can regardless of the occassion. My point is that if they wanted a private wedding, they could have had one. They wanted a free wedding and honeymoon from a tabloid and they got it. *shrug*

I agree with BudgetBeauty. If they wanted a private affair they would have had one. Just like Jay and Bey, Tiger Woods, Brad and Jen (back in the day), and countless other high profile celebrities the have marriages, babies, surgeries and everything else without us seeing or knowing. The paps could have stayed in a tree all day every day and would have gotten nothing if that is what the couple wanted.

I agree that if OK! Magazines offers to foot the bill for someone's “dream wedding” (Star Jones would be proud) it would be silly to pass that up.... however... the Paps know what the public is interested in and what sells and doesn't sell and I doubt they would have harassed the couple, as BudgetBeauty wrote.

Unfortunately for OK! they must NOT have realized the lack of interest because Hilary's wedding issue only sold 290,000 copies - and that's considered a flop in the world of magazine sales.

You said it better than me but I was still typing when you did so.

i saw the photo's of the night jay and bey were getting married and the people arriving for the ceremony! as if 50,000 white orchids being delivered would not give it away :graucho: and the pap's in the helicopter's trying to get photo's but could see nothing but white tents on the roof.

I'm curious what others think about her roots, which are intended to be obvious. I can't decide what I think of them in the wedding pictures.

She is a rich actress and he's from a multi-millionaire family – everything is meant to be extremely elegant - but the two-tone hair doesn’t feel right to me... and I l LOVE darker roots when it's done on purpose. So I should love this.

I just wonder if she'll look back on her wedding photos and wish she had hair that matched? And not a blonde pouf on the top of her head? Maybe a wedding is not the time to be fashion forward?

What is everyone's opinion?

For whatever reason they decided to have OK involved with the wedding/honeymoon. It doesn't matter as long as they are happy.Seems like they got what they wanted out of the deal. Is this mismatched hair thing a trend? I have seen it on a few other celebs I think.
