hey girls,

I'm so looking for a brown bag.. So after snooping around, I found the following: castagna gsh city and black cherry gsh city!

Let me know what you girls think??

I like them equally, but I'm not sure Black Cherry will satisfy your desire for a brown bag because I think it is more like a very dark red (maybe with a brown undertone). can bc owners confirm ? Castagna is a fabulous brown IMO, so for a brown bag, my vote goes to castagna good luck deciding !!

I agree with French. Black Cherry is not necesarily a straight brown. More of a reddish brown, but in the red family nonetheless. I think you should look more to Castagna if you are looking for a brown bag.

I voted for Castagna, too, because it is more brown, but also the leather has been really nice on the 2010 bags. I don't know about all the Black Cherry bags, of course, but I had a City that had very thin leather, so I much prefer the bags from 2010 which have been more consistent IMO.

as the others have mentioned - Castagna is a very nice rich brown. and would satisfy your brown requirement.
Black Cherry is more deep red than brown - though it's also a really nice color if you would reconsider it.
