A quick list of influencers I’ve come across and what I think about them - hope this is helpful in-case you’re looking for something to watch!

Influencers I enjoy

Cassie Thorpe
  • I like her and her content a lot but I do believe she got her mini Kelly in NY as a result of her online presence (her Birkin I don’t think so just because of the wishlist system in UK can be random)
LVLoverCC
  • Not that big of a collection but I like that she doesn’t take shopping so seriously; she shops where she wants and buys what she wants
Super Dacob
  • Not quite a haul/influencer but I enjoy his content
A chic maven
  • Hasn’t posted in a minute do to her full-time job but I do like how she has a really good selection from all categories
Tamara
  • Obviously has a relationship with the house but I like her videos
Lalli Mirza
  • Has veered away from shopping hauls and I know she may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I like her videos
Maymay Seven
  • On instagram only, I think she may be connected to Laos royalty and has quite a collection so take a look
Rinkys
  • On instagram only, but has quite a collection of all categories so take a look
Kristina Braly
  • I like her videos and I like that her relationship with the brand relative to her lifestyle is authentic and relatable
Haya Glamazon
  • Doesn’t really have an Hermes collection but I like her story times
Living lux with Meredith
  • I think she has a bit of a collecting issue but all of her stuff seems to be authentic and I like a good haul just as much as anyone
Sophie Shohet
  • Not and Hermes influencer at all but worth a mention because I like her content a lot and I think if you like the above creators I think you would enjoy her too

Influencers I am ambivalent on (but that’s just me)

Alyssa Lenore
  • I find her content dull and repetitive and I think she got all her offers as a result of being an influencer but does have a good collection
Erica’s Girly World
  • Has quite a bit of a collection but I find her to be annoying
Lydia Elise Millen
  • Has a few collection of resale mini Kelly’s but she’s trying so hard to become something she’s not
DoubleVanilla
  • Successful in getting bags but there is something about her that rubs me wrong
Fashionably Amy
  • First of all, and idk if this is just me, but I really don’t like when people try so hard to pronounce the French way of saying items and do it over and over again, it just grates on me. Also and I also don’t know if this makes sense, but its like she wants the bags too much
Maria Draganova
  • Only has 1 bag from resale but she did try for a while to get one from boutique and obviously cannot afford the lifestyle she portrays (makes me question her income stream)
HRH collection
  • Obviously trolling but her videos are not pleasant to watch and there’s speculation that she has fakes
StyledbyShishi
  • On tiktok and has a decent collection and entertaining videos but if you look up her past and the lifestyle she’s promoting its actually shameful
Clairebanks
  • Shameful past and she comes across very inauthentic
Purseonfleek
  • Enough has already been said but her old videos might be worth a watch
Je suis Lou
  • Pretty girl but the way she got Birkin after birkin after birkin all from her SA in a short period of time with limited pre-spend is really suspect

Influencers that I don’t have a judgment on (yet)

Mel in Melbourne
  • I like some of her videos but its hit and miss
Sasa Zoe
  • Only watched a few videos
A simple Lvoe/raindrop raina (can’t figure out if they’re the same person)
  • Only watched a few videos
Isabelle’s Style
  • Not a bad collection but she talks to slow for me
Kat L
  • Only watched a few videos
Morgan Britt Butler
  • I don’t mind her videos but her makeup and styling are just not for me
I am GPS
  • Not bad content but talks way too slow
Romina Rose May
  • Again not really an Hermes influencer, but does go into shop and films stuff, so worth a mention I guess
Madam M.M Styleicon
  • I think she truly loves the brand and buys a lot from them but I don’t click with her style; still worth a mention
A heated mess
  • Only seen a few videos
Jerusha Couture
  • I can’t actually get through one of her videos but i think that might be a me thing
I love lailli too. I get what you mean by the French thing with Amy but I like it bc I want to know how to pronounce it properly. But when I’m in the store I always say it the “anglo” way bc I don’t want to a.) sound pretentious but more importantly b.) have the SA be like “what?”.

What are slam forums?
sites like tattler and gurugossip that operate similar to tpf where there is a page for one influencer (and often sub-pages) and people discuss them and their content, often in a not-so-positive way. To be fair the influencers that have the most pages and negative comments are the ones that have usually done something scandalous (i.e. Lydia Millen is quite popular on these forums as a result of the hairdresser controversy, tanning glove controversy, and other things)

Amy actually grew up speaking French (Montreal, Canada) before learning English.

I finally came around the tattler one the other day, I was kind of shocked how negative some of it was. Thank God I'm not an influencer, I'm too sensitive for the comments! I'm pretty ashamed to admit I did have a chuckle at some of the Lydia and her husband ones, mostly the photos of them cos playing country living royalty, but on the most part its really vile trolling.

Tanning glove controversy?
The mind boggles

Lol cosplay country royalty!! Soo true.

Maybe I will have to start a YouTube chanel to get any offers from Hermes here in Australia. I have been a customer for many years and have never been offered anything. Earlier this year I sent my birkin and 2 x Constance’s for repairs which came to 4.5K and I said to the sales lady, I have never been offered to be on a list or anything so I requested to be put on a wait list for a Kelly. I am not holding my breath.
Then I see this particular lady purchased a birkin, then was offered an SO and then purchased a mini black box kelly. It just isn’t fair, is it! She only started shopping there last year.
I don't think her offers have anything to do with being a YouTuber as she is quite new to it. I think she would have spent a lot to receive her offers from the Sydney store.

100% and she's one of the few that can buy and unbox so much and it doesn't annoy me, she's got amazing taste and is lucky to be able to buy what she loves. I'm only slightly jealous
I love Tamara! She is still down to earth though she has so much stuff. She is intelligent, not snobby and has matured in a lovely way. After having watched her videos on fashionweeks and all her business travels I have come to the insight that being a successful influencer is hard work.

There are a couple of other YouTubers that I think deserve mention :

1/ Claire Chanelle- London based YouTuber who has a pretty extensive designer bag collection - her Hermes collection is lovely

2/ Jacira De Matos- lovely , chatty Hermes lover - I’ve enjoyed her videos

3/ Crishya- adores H and uses her bags

4/ Bargain Hunting Blonde- her collection of vintage H is insane

5/ Street style paris- sometimes has collages of H worn in public - so if you enjoy the H wildlife sightings thread- it’s that brought to life !

But I am coming across more and more YouTubers (especially in the UK, eg Sophie Shohet) who are veering from excessive mindless purchasing - especially during their very real cost of living crisis …
