I'm not sure I really understand the trend of carrying two bags, it just seems like a lot to deal with, but I see it daily around SF. And it's not always a smaller bag paired with a bigger bag like this, sometimes it's like B35-sized-bag AND a big tote. My shoulders ache just seeing it. That said, I understand keeping a foldable grocery-size bag in case one needs some unexpected capacity (I keep a Silky-Pop Tote inside my smaller bags like the B25 or Toolbox 20 when I'm out and about).

...and actually looking at this photo, I think that might be a B30; I can't imagine a B25's handles fitting that far up anyone's arm.
Sometimes you just need a bunch of stuff. There are days that I carry 3! bags - counting my lunchboxbag :giggle::biggrin::giggle: Though usually only from my car in the garage up the elevator to my office :graucho:

I had Birkin 25’s and I too have extremely thin arms and very tiny wrists and yes the bag would sometimes slip up my forearm but was extremely uncomfortable in that area. Even having it on my wrist wasn’t all that comfy. It really is a lady bag and for me was best carried by the handle.

Jealous. I can carry mine with three of my five fingers.

Don't be, I wish I have normal-sized arms and wrists. It'd make buying jewelry a lot easier

Ditto, I have children's size wrists so can't wear normal bracelets.
I suppose the grass is always greener...like @duggi84 I carry my B25 with three of my fingers and my wrists are sufficiently large that I can rarely find a bracelet that fits...it took three tries for me the find my silver chain d'encre!

Perhaps one bag is a purse, one is a workout bag with sweaty clothes.
