Loving that for such a small country, Singapore seems to have the highest number of H bags per capita!

I agree. I think I see more H bags in Singapore and Hong Kong daily than most other cities I frequent/ have lived in, including London and Paris.

I have family in HK so I say this delicately. The culture there in many circles is so tied to famous brands, H being a key member of course. I know of a few family members and acquaintances who frankly don’t make a lot of money still feeling an innate pressure to buy H. It feels kinda rough to be honest.

I also wonder if this pressure means some of these bags we see in the pictures are fake.
