I know! My SA has been telling me to buy the things I like and not to get them just to build profile. He has been chanting about this whenever I visit the boutique.

kind of regretted for missing the watch customisation event last year.

I only own one Hermes watch - a Barenia Cape Cod single tour that I purchased for myself to remember a special birthday last year. I got it because I like the minimal design of the watch and that it matches my Barenia Constance mini. I also like that if I want to I can get other coloured straps to match my other Hermes bags.

I got the Kelly lock watchs after watching Legally Blonde. :lol:. Elle was so cute wearing hers and I loved that it was more of a piece of jewelry that was also functional. I liked to put the "lock watch" on my H bags also as something fun. I no longer own the watches only because I stay at home with my kids and stopped wearing them. Now that my boys are older, I may have to reconsider! :-)

I have never been pressured to buy anything to get my Ks and B.s. I just like how they look. And have lots of bands. I have cartier and other watches, so it's just in the rotation. I do find I am not wearing watches much at all since being home this last year.

I chatted more with my SA on H watches. He got to know I have several watches from watchmaker brands and seem to discourage me from getting one from H as the ones I like are quartz.

How long do you think H watches can last? I know they can be sent for repair/ servicing but I guess there should be a lifespan for quartz watches?

my skeleton arceau went in for repairs twice in the first year of purchasing

I've had my Automatic Cape Cod about 6 years and my Quartz one almost 3 years touch wood both haven't given me any problems

Which size are you thinking about? I saw 17.2 mm heure h came out recently. I imagine it would look dainty and classy. I would love that in gold on gold Epsom.
