I couldn't find a thread that addresses Hermes brooches and alike accessories. If there's any, please let me know.
I recently got this vintage brooch from Japan Rakuten at a very good price as they're offering some discount offers (https://item.rakuten.co.jp/brandox/brb-19109/) but the condition seems rather not so good. I've also attached the pictures below. Since the front is still very presentable, I don't mind getting it given it's from the early 90s and those in very good condition are selling at sky rocketed prices.
I wonder does anyone knows how to clean the tarnishes away? I've also learned that it's also possible to bring it back to Hermes store and get it restored but I'm not too sure how is it like? Anyone has any experience to share?
