Fabfashion, depending on where you are in the lineup, you will most likely be inside. The lineup snakes around the hallways inside the MTCC. The weather forecast is for a nasty mix of rain and snow (seriously...we've had enough thankyouverymuch!). They keep replenishing the stock at various times throughout the day. Good luck and have a great time with your friends!!

Thank you, HfromT! It is going to be freezing Thursday. Crazy, I know. Thank goodness we don't have to stand outside or I don't think I'll be going. Glad to hear they replenish the stock.

Crazy weather indeed...I almost threw my book at Anthony Farnell as he gave the weather report on Global tv tonight! Hope you find some great things when you're there! If I can give you a tip, quickly grab a bunch of silks that you want to try on, then step far away from the tables and try them on in front of the mirrors, then return any you don't want to the tables. And keep your eyes on other people who may have one you want, because chances are it could be put back on the silks tables if the buyer changes her mind. It's silk pandemonium in there. Don't wear heavy clothes or coats, as you'll find them cumbersome and too hot after all that time indoors.

It sounds like the best bag to bring for this event is a cross body bag? So one can be hands free and/or not finagling with the straps up your shoulder during the battle for silks.

Just went and checked my receipts (keep everything for insurance purposes) and I paid with CC at the last sale. Need to scan those receipts before the house burns down!

I'm thinking of stopping by tomorrow afternoon around 2:30-3pm, do you think there will still be scarves in stock? I just thought I'd check it out, but I don't want to waste my time going if there won't be anything left!

Thanks all! I think I paid with CC last time too but wasn't certain. Well fingers crossed! Last time i got in line just after 7am and I didn't get in till about 10:30ish. I remember thinking that there were way more people last time that in 2009. From what I've heard, they replenish stock through out the day so there still should be scarves left in the afternoon. I think some people even went around 4pm last time and managed to find a few scarves. I have to go into work tomorrow morning so I was thinking of getting there at 5:30 and cross my fingers that I can get in before 9!

Just take a photo of them on your iPhone. I think that qualifies as proof if you ever needed to submit a claim. Worked for me.
