Interesting...when I was at the check out a woman behind the cashiers (looked like a manager of sorts) said they priced the clic clacs too low and then walked towards the table...did they take them all off the table at that point?
I picked up a thin red one with SHW..thought it would go great stacked with my Love bracelets.

I also found it much more organized and 'roomy'. I chatted with some of the SAs while looking at the merchandise since they seemed more relaxed. I did not see any pushing and I felt comfortable with having my baby in a carrier. I also enjoyed chatting with the folks in line...everyone was friendly around me. Well worth the trip.
That sounds great! I was in line at 5am, and there were around 20 people ahead of me. I loved how nice everyone was. We actually made some friends waiting for 3 hours :amuse: Now I feel so lucky to have picked up my H bracelet...because I was having second thoughts.

How did everyone do?!?!?! I was so happy that it was a very civilized shopping experience...no one shoved or pushed. Phew!

For those that may go later, there were LOTS of scarves, enamels (H bracelets too), some leather bracelets, lots of ties.

Prices are: 70 and 90 scarves - $275, 140 - $695, H cuff narrow - $450, H cuff wide - $695, ties - $125, small scarves - $125, leather bracelets - $395

As others mentioned, don't wear anything bulky, and leave your purse in the car. Only wallets are allowed inside.

I picked up a narrow H bracelet, 90x90 scarf for my mom, tie for husband, and 2 twillies - one to frame and one for my bag. Super happy with my purchases. Sale is on until 7pm, and I am so tempted to go back...but probably won't. They continued to replenish as people were buying - pretty sure the best selection for one of these sales in a while!
Thank you for the information! Congrats on your haul! :p

Wow 5am! What time were you done at (might have spent the same amount or less of time there as I did, just shifted)?

Yes, when they took all the clic clacs off the table, a customer asked whether the SAs were taking them somewhere else, a female staff (probably the same lady you mentioned) said "these should've never been here in the first place".

I too enjoyed the experience today. It was crowded for sure, but still very civilized. The SAs were busy folding scarves back while people unfolding everything at the same time but they still gave me suggestions on colours and helped me looking for specific designs. ;)

Just saw you clic clac - classic combo!! Like the scarf too.

Had to run to work, so left around 9:45am...wanted to check out men's, but didn't have time to check my bag to go back in...such a pain! This is probably the earliest I've ever lined up for anything, but must say it was worth it. And can't believe you did it with a baby in tow! Did you train her/him to help you shop? :D

Woah! I would've been so mad if they took them away as I was looking at them...I wonder what happened? Feeling extra lucky to have had the chance to leisurely decide whether to get one or not! A few of my friends will be upset, as they were going to look for clic clacs later on...early bird gets the cuff :p

Gosh this sounds like a amazing sale! Congrats to all that went...your scarves and bracelets are so gorgeous.
I didn't go this morning because I had to be at work by 9:30 and I didn't think I'd get out of there on time. I'm totally regretting this esp since they had clic clac's! Is anyone planning to go after work? If I go around 6pm do you girls think there will be anything left?

Lined up at 5:30 am, got in at 8:15 am. There were 75 ppl ahead of me. Lots of 90*90 scarves but the limit is 3, down from 5 in previous years. I wanted to get a couple extra as gifts but too bad! As I was there primarily for the scarves I'm not sure if waiting that early to buy three scarves (plus a tie) made a lot of sense but I had the pick of many gorgeous designs.

The room is larger and the feel is more 'civilized', less pushing to get to the table than in the past. But the prices have gone up ($275 for silk 70*70 or 90*90) and the limit is down to three. Wonder if that's to stretch out stock, foil the ebayers or both? My 90 in scarves are marked with a faint S for sale. The volunteers are friendly and helpful. I remember last time there were staff trying to hustle everyone out quickly (those that arrive early don't want to be hurried along!) but that did not happen today.

The security staff insisted that we check all coats and bags - seemed confused about this at first and finally issued a 'check all coats and bags' warning. small cross-body bags, wristlets and wallets only.

Overall, a good visit and a good cause. Love my scarves. Happy shopping!

Good selection in the morning. Got a cashmere stole-bicolor; wakoni 90 cm carre ( can't believe I got this on sale - this is a collector item); parures des maharajas carre 90 cm which my SA gave to me when I was perusing the scarves section- she knows which ones are collectible .❤️ I also bought ties with H motif and lastly a cuir micro rivale bracelet in soufre❤️❤️❤️ I wish I know how to post pictures here....

Flo, it sounds like you did REALLY well! Love all of your buys. Congrats! Sad I didn't see cuir micro rivale bracelets...were there many? Though it's probably for the best. :giggles:

I think there will be lots of 90/70 left, though maybe the more muted colours. The kept putting out more while I was there. You'll likely walk right in at 6pm, so it is worth it if you are located close. I would have gone later in the day, but my husband could only work from home in the morning (and he dropped me off and picked me up).

The security people were joking that the next sale will be in 202x...haha...increasing the hype!
