Congratulations on your lovely new Toolbox. I completely relate to how you feel about this big purchase. I felt the same way after purchasing my Evelyne GM.

Thank you so much :flowers: Gosh if I'm like this with the toolbox, if I ever get offered a birkin down the track I will probably have a stroke as my credit card gets swiped!

I just had a long one made at Madison. I left my strap so they could use the leather and hardware, so the short strap will be no more. But it's been pretty fast -- It's been ready for a week and I haven't been able to get uptown to pick it up. They did have to order the canvas, which took a few weeks, but once they had it, it took Pierre less than a week.

I did ask and they declined to make an adjustable strap though.

Oh wow, that's great that he was able to do it so quickly for you. Thanks for letting me know :)

I think it is actually better you couldn't get an adjustable one, because frankly I think that the additional hardware on the strap would make the toolbox too casual I think. I can't wait to see how it fits with the new strap. Will you please post modeling pics, as the toolbox is appealing more to me as I see more of them in different colors (now if only we could convince Hermes to make them in Togo or Epsom or other textured leathers, so I wouldn't have to worry about scratches :)!)
