hello everyone

i am reviving this thread because FINALLY (!) i can say i am a proud member of this group of Toolbox owners!

i have been a big fan of TB for a while but have not come across a color that spoke to me...

a few weeks ago, my SA showed me a bicolor gold/orange 26... i loved the bicolor aspect, but i am not a big fan of gold (for me, but looks lovely on others)! but she had me put all my stuff in the bag and walk around the store with it so i can get a feel for the bag, and i just totally fell in love with the style even more! prior to that, i had also been wanting a lindy, but after trying it out, the TB shot up on the list above the lindy! my SA also showed me a grany, but that was toooo neon green! i didn't know what other colors it currently came in, but i happened to mention to her, if she gets it in an amazing color especially RED (i thought this was wishful thinking on my part!), to please keep me in mind! she kinda laughed at me and said they barely get toolboxes in, and for it to be a color that i will love, she thought the chances were slim and we would be waiting a while...

so deliveries arrived this week and lo and behold, she could not believe her eyes! there it was, my dream toolbox! all i can say is that H truly works in mysterious ways!

anyway enough of my rambling, may i present my newest love and addition to my family:

I AM SOOOOO IN LOVE!!!!!!

Vermillion TB is stunning! Toolbox and I go through phases. I tried one on in November and through I love the shape and size, it didn't feel right at the time. I started to think it's the color since yours definitely made my heart skip a beat. It is lovely and you wore her well! Congrats!!!!

Congrats! Love the color!! Looks great on you! My SA also showed me a toolbox in granny that was too bright for me. I didn't realize it also comes in vermillion. That's one of my favorite reds.

thank you so much plumtree, i am obsessed! the 26 is such a great size, very roomy and fits more than my B30 but doesn't feel too bulky!

I love love love the red! Wow! First one I've seen in this color. The TB is definitely on my wish list -- you did the right thing to wait (although I've admired all that I've seen).

thank you pjlatte! what color did you try on? i was initially offered a bicolor gold/orange and grany, and although i loved the shape and style, those colors were not for me.... but i DID know i wanted the style in another color... i hope you get to try on another one in a different color to see if it works for you!

thank you roman_holiday! yes i passed on the grany too because it was tooo bright, even though i love color, and green is not one of my favorites, but yes vermillion is new for the season so i hope you can get one! it is such a great red, i find it hard to differentiate from rouge casaque...

I tried on argyle/orange 26 and granny 20. Somehow both didn't feel right on me. I'll have to give it another shot. Hopefully something as amazing as yours show up!

i bet argile/orange was beautiful, but i would have been afraid to dirty argile too easily especially in a bigger bag, so i can understand your reservations... i wish you the best of luck, maybe a vermillion will pop up in your store! i am not sure what other colors are coming for the season... i know there is gold/orange which is the other one i saw.. i think there is also orange, BE...

I agree with you on the brightness of Grany. Argile/orange was great. I actually really love it on Chincac, but didn't look quite "me", YKWIM? Size wise... I definitely prefers 26 over 20. I'm keeping my fingers crossed dear carlinha!
