thanks dear! i went back looking for the SM but he was not there.. according to the other SA, it's just normal.. so i did not bother to ask anymore.. :(

that's not acceptable. a lot of SAs in H nowadays don't know much about the products. I have met one who doesn't even know what a twilly is and she was standing in front of the scarves and is meant to be selling them. i think you should ask the SM to call you when he/she is back so you can tell them your concerns!

im almost fed up calling them.. one of them even answered "yeah, i know you. we told you its just fine.. don't worry too much about it". everytime i will call looking for the SM, they will ask a lot of questions and its pretty obvious that they don't want to direct me to the SM..
i agree with your statement.. some of them don't know their products.. the last time i went there to buy the twillies, the SA who helped me didn't know what a twilly is..
i will ask my hubby to call or check the store one day.. he's a lot tougher than me..

i think you should definitely report their behaviour to the SM. it is not their job to decide whether your strap is ok. it is their job to find out from the experts in H whether your concerns are valid and to escalate those concerns if they are not getting anywhere in your local store.

if they were the one to have paid thousands of dollars for a bag, i doubt they will be sooo complacent.

Seems La Prairie is also a toolbox lover! Their Christmas gift set contains a "toolbox" in silver "ostrich" with either GHW or PHW!

i am reviving this thread because FINALLY (!) i can say i am a proud member of this group of Toolbox owners! :woot:

i have been a big fan of TB for a while but have not come across a color that spoke to me...

a few weeks ago, my SA showed me a bicolor gold/orange 26... i loved the bicolor aspect, but i am not a big fan of gold (for me, but looks lovely on others)! but she had me put all my stuff in the bag and walk around the store with it so i can get a feel for the bag, and i just totally fell in love with the style even more! prior to that, i had also been wanting a lindy, but after trying it out, the TB shot up on the list above the lindy! my SA also showed me a grany, but that was toooo neon green! i didn't know what other colors it currently came in, but i happened to mention to her, if she gets it in an amazing color especially RED (i thought this was wishful thinking on my part!), to please keep me in mind! she kinda laughed at me and said they barely get toolboxes in, and for it to be a color that i will love, she thought the chances were slim and we would be waiting a while...

so deliveries arrived this week and lo and behold, she could not believe her eyes! there it was, my dream toolbox! all i can say is that H truly works in mysterious ways!

anyway enough of my rambling, may i present my newest love and addition to my family:
Ms. Toolbox 26 in Rouge Vermillion Swift Leather PHW :loveeyes::loveeyes:

I AM SOOOOO IN LOVE!!!!!!

I love love love the red! Wow! First one I've seen in this color. The TB is definitely on my wish list -- you did the right thing to wait (although I've admired all that I've seen).
