Because the toolboxes don’t get enough love, I’ll double-post all these photos here. It’s definitely an under-appreciated, practical, and cute bag. The more I use mine, the more I love it. I clearly frequently style it differently...fitting a pink bag in as a guy for your daily takes a lot of creativity! I’m really itching for another one, but need to space-out my expensive bag purchases (and it’s not like my store has had any more in anyway). :crybaby:

Gorgeous! That color pops against your neutral tone clothes.

The TB20 size looks perfect on you! I feel my TB20 looks to big on me so I keep mine in the cupboard.

How is the capacity? Can you put a small water bottle along with a small umbrella?

It's actually quite spacious thanks to how thick it is...it's a chubby little thing. Even though it's only 20cm wide, it's about as deep (front-to-back) and will carry almost as much as my husband's Birkin 30. It's deceiving, like a Picotin. The only limiting factor over the B30 is the width, which will mean longer items may not fit. It does fit everything I need daily though: full size wallet (18cm), two masks (one spare), hand sanitizer, eye drops, mints, it's raincoat, keys, a pocket square and a cleaning cloth...with enough extra room for something like a drink or a prescription I've picked up from the pharmacy. I think a VERY small folding umbrella would fit inside, but a water bottle would require popping-out one of the wings and sticking the top of the bottle out the side of the bag, like I did in the pic below. Popping out both wings nearly doubles the usable capacity, which is nice in a pinch. I was once able to accommodate two personal-size bottles of champagne thanks to those wings, without having to remove what was already in my bag.

(fwiw, that's a bottle of gatorade, so much larger than a normal small-size water bottle)

Wow, thank you for your reference! Is that in swift leather?

I have been thinking about either Toolbox 20 or the New Drag 22. Toolbox 20 is readily available in preloved market for a discount whereas I haven't seen New Drag 22 so far.

yes mine is Swift...it's quite soft, so I very-much recommend getting an insert. I have a Samorga 2mm and it's perfect for holding the bag's shape and protecting the interior. I think the Drag 22 will have less capacity and be a bit more tedious to get in-and-out of quickly. The Toolbox is really a great functional bag and the single turn-lock closure is really easy to use one-handed once you get the hang of it. I like how it opens super-wide and I can just see everything in there and grab what I need. Based on the look of the leatherwork, the Drag 22 will likely cost more than a Toolbox 20 new, also.

Yes, New Drag 22 is 14.4k SGD whereas Toolbox 20 is about 11k SGD (preloved for about 7k to 8k SGD). Both bags are similar so I am not going to get both (it's too expensive to get both too!)

I wanted to get a bag which I can carry it for formal events and casual day out. I saw this video while researching on both bags on XHS.

Personally, I'm not sure either are appropriate for formal events. Usually a small shoulder bag, clutch, or miniaudiere are more appropriate for a formal event, unless things are changing and I'm just getting old

Both have a unique non-purse look: the Drag looks like a mini business bag and the Toolbox looks like a mini...toolbox. I can't speak for the Drag, but I get a LOT of compliments on my Toolbox in public. A LOT.
