it would go with any variety of skirts, pants, tops or dresses in white, beige. Light gray. Charcoal gray, taupe, navy, black, bittersweet dark brown, dark purple, dark burgundy. Red and green are complimentary colors, but I would not go equally bright with equal amounts, if I were new to color. If one is careful, one could also put n acid apple green with a dark forest green, and so on. It’s not really my style to pair a lot of brights, like lemon yellow, orange, and apple together, but people who like to color block might find this appealing. I would personally rather mix color or pattern against neutrals. If you mix pattern, try to vary the scale of the print. You can of course always match the apple green to a minimal accent color in a scarf or blouse.

some designers have used this color to great effect in various seasons. Bottega Veneta comes to mind. I would not worry about exact matches or you will drive yourself crazy. In other words, don’t worry about matching belts, or shoes.
