That's awesome you got to go again! Did you get anything for yourself? Were there many shoes, and did the RTW
Seem to be in many sizes? Thanks for sharing!
There’s no shoes this year so it was consolidated into one hall.

RTW sizing were good, there was variety for each, 36,38 plentiful, not so much 40+ and the occasional super good find.

Didn’t see a limit sign for RTW but 4 limit on twillies which I used up.

We were told no limit this morning, even on the twillies, maybe because it was the 2nd day. I only got 2 twillies anyway. Since I'm 40+ in RTW, not much available, but agree with above, definitely good selection for size 36/38. I think there must have only been about 40 people at my session, was not too crowded and could browse easily. I managed to get a great men's jumper that I was eyeing when it was at full price. Hope people were able to get some great items.

My first time going to the sale. Though I didn't put high expectation I still feel quite disappointed, only have limited rtw and few choices, 10 or less, of twilly, no scarf and nothing else.
Has the sale always been like this or because I went on the second day?

I was happy with the amount of RTW that I saw even though a lot would’ve been sold during the 3 sessions prior. Each size rack had decent amounts and there were trays of twilly. I came back to it again, the SA was holding a blackish twilly talking to her colleague that she’d thought it’d be gone quicker, so I took it.

It’s always best to go first day and as early as possible. The first 3 sessions was full by the time I got my invite so I went for the 4th session first day. Interestingly I checked back a couple of times and day 2 sessions 1&2 were filled and not mine. I wonder if people thought there would be restock overnight.

This year sale was very civilised compare to last year. I think last year somewhat people that wasnt invited/not a regular clients managed to get in (I can identify them because some of them were not familiar with the products and only know the brand) hence things are gone quickly on the 1st and 2nd day (last year’s one invite for 2 persons) The queue to get in and out takes few hours long. They had to cancel the 3rd day sale because pretty much all gone. This year one invite valid for one person only and give us lots of space to walk around checking things out without worrying someone would snatch our chosen items . I think they do re-stock on the popular items such as cashmeres and silk. I’m guessing its about 3 cashmeres per session they will bring it out so people have a fair chance to get it. I know this because on my session on the 1st day i saw 3 pieces and i got one and ask if they have more stock and they said none but my friend went on the 2nd day and said she saw 3 cashmere shawls for sale and quickly gone. Great selection this year eventhough no shoes on sale this time

Hi everyone

I am new to Hermes, as in never been in store, only purchased something from website.
The Sydney store is my closest one and I will be going there in November - I have been thinking about a Kelly to go as my first "bag" purchase - do you need an appointment to purchase this kind of thing or any bag (obviously excluding Quota bags as I know that's a different story)

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I was just wondering the process so I don't embarrass myself as I would like to eventually look at getting on a Wishlist for a Kelly bag.

Thank you in advance for any responses

Thank you so much for the reply... I am planning to look at shoes, glassware etc as my first purchases before considering any bags as I would like to look at some in person before really deciding I just wasn't sure if I needed an appointment to look at or purchase bags/SLGs or if you could discuss with an assigned SA.
