is there much variety / stock at the airport store? ie. is it easy to reach the 1:1 with like other bags, wallets or watches? So my SA at the sydney airport told me airports in the whole oceania is not stocking B or K, at least at the moment. And their ratio to purchase a constance is normally 1:1 on both 18 and 24 size. But i guess it still depends.
I haven't travelled recently, but I did ask her about diamond jewelry for another friend with the same question. Seems like they do stock diamond jeweleries but they also sell out quite quickly. And because small leather goods do not count, so it makes it difficult to make up the amount if you already have a lot of silks or bracelets from previous purchase.is there much variety / stock at the airport store? ie. is it easy to reach the 1:1 with like other bags, wallets or watches?
In the Sydney store, I have never been told clearly as to how I can possibly get a B or K or C, this really annoys me. In HK or Japan they are pretty upfront about this. The airport store belongs to Heinemann group so it's different to the city store, and maybe different management. Is this 1:1 or 1.5:1 rule applicable for regular customers in their local stores? Or only for those who are travelling and doesn't really have a purchase history?
Wow it's good to know! I have given up on building relationships in the Syd store for a bag, I go in to buy whatever small thinga I actually need. I bought my B from a European friend who was offered a bag I wanted, so she buys the jeweleries or accessories she wants for herself, and I pay for them and I get the bag, much easier. My SA dropped the hint once to buy b/k/c ratio is 2:1( has to include jewellery) when I was trying on the white gold bracelets and rings eventually I bought them, she said you have to buy them anyway to get the bag, it could just be her or maybe it is the rule ?
I am quite dishearten by this given the fact that I am building the relationship with her but then it is so much easier for me to get the bag somewhere (HK or Europe applying the same rules )

That is exactly what I thoughtI think your SA is very greedy.. [emoji23] hk can do 1:1 and price is not much different anyway.
She offered a bag after one year spending $$$$$$$$$$$$$I think your SA is very greedy.. [emoji23] hk can do 1:1 and price is not much different anyway.

Then she said I had to wait 6 months before she could offer me another one I understand that
it is just the way everytime I step into the store she push me buy things
I visited the store 3 times since April spending another 20K and yet still not enough
Anyway I boguht 4 bags from dieffernt countries (1 in london 2 in Paris 1 in HK given I applied the rule) it was no problem for other boutiques even I am not local
Double sen straight forwardHi ladies, just found this informative forum/thread! Am not interested in buying B K or C but was wondering is it easy to get a small size double sens from the Sydney store? Do the SAs make you jump through hoops for non B K bags? Lol wish I lived in the US, then I could just order the double sens I want from the website.
Interacting with SAs who try to make me buy ad on purchases always makes me uncomfortable. I've been into the Sydney store once before and the SA I met was definitely trying to sell sell sell! Lol
