Thank you so much CathyQ!!
Were the old style inserts worth the money in your opinion, even though you found a bit floppy?
I've converted to 7RP since. I was happy with the craftmanship but given what I look for in an insert, Maitai's old ones don't really fit for the purpose. I'm sure her new ones are great and in terms of pricing, hers much friendlier than 7RP's so I wouldn't complaint.
Thank you CathyQ [emoji173]️[emoji173]️。 I have just read your post in the bag insert thread. I think we have the same birkin.. etoupe b35?
Thanks once again, I will look into 7RP, I have a Victoria which I think could use the same insert as b35.. one insert for two bags might make the price point more justified!!
oh hello bag twin! Did you get your bag from the Sydney store as well?
Maitai's new inserts were not in production when I ventured into 7RP. Now that there is a choice I don't know which one would be the clear winner. I'm certainly happy with the product from 7RP but can't really say that they are great value for money. I find the bag insert thread to be very much helpful where you get so many feedbacks from all the lovely ladies here. I think I would prefer to have a softer insert for the Victoria though but it all comes down to your personal preference. Good luck. I'm sure you will enjoy which ever one you decide to get.
OP sorry if I'm getting offtopic.
Thank you so much CathyQ for all your advice! I got my b35 from the Brisbane store 。 I shall give the new MaiTai a try and will post my experience in the bag insert thread. Thank you once again. My apologies too OP for going off track .
[/QUOTE]Oh thank you mibonbon! So nice to have feedback from the lovely fellow tfp'ers in Aus! I will give MaiTai a go and order today。
[/QUOTE="mibonbon, post: 30862747, member: 121671"]Hi Emerson, I got a maitai inserts for my B35, B30, K32, bolide 31 and picotin 18,22. So as you can see I'm quite a fan. Lol [emoji23] The craftsmanship is excellent although it is on the floppy side. Shipping wasn't a problem either.
So you spends $$$ then asked for your name on waitlist?I asked to put my name down for a Kelly around xmas eve in the Sydney store, they said they weren't taking any more names until feb. is this true? I had the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ to purchase it. the SA didn't seem interested either and never asked me for priors. I woul dhave the same problem as Ive not purchased from Australia yet but have in Japan.
Following with interest. Sorry that your name couldn't be added, littleluxuries but hopefully this means that those on the last waitlist might be close to getting their requests? I found the way of approaching sydney hermes is different to many other country. It is a good idea to start a relationship with SA you are happy to deal with. Of course building a good relationship will be purchasing H goods. But they don't just give you B or K because you spend some $$$$ upfront. And once they believe you are a genuine H lover, it won't take too long to score your dream bag!!! Good luck!Possibly - I will keep u posted I'm going to ask again in two weeks when I go back
No I just asked
