Been away from tpf for a chunk. I wanted to post a new find at the boutique today. When your scarfie friend asks if you’re free the next day to try a fun new cocktails place, meet at the map room of the Boston Public Library, and look at new H season, you say YES I’ll make it happen :ghi5: . We managed to accomplish two of the three. What the heck did I drink with miso coconut cream!
This will be my one 90 from the season. That’s right and I’m stickin’ to it ;) . Bottes story cw 1. I went in thinking I just wanted to look at BdG fleurs, joke on me. None of fleurs worked on me enough to buy, but I found this surprising love. I normally wouldn’t give such a riot of color a thought, but I remembered someone on here showing this cw I think. So I gave it a go, and was just smitten. I just love this mix of colors, theme, and corners. Never would have bought it had I not been able to try it on and see the magic. Crazy how that happens.

Sounds like a special day and your scarf choice is beautiful. It looks great in the bunched knots where all the colors are visible.

Hello, my beautiful twin!!!! Don't you just love this colorway??? One of the magical things about this one is that there are FOUR different versions of the Southwestern sky represented on each side panel hem area of the scarf! Loving this on you and how you have styled and tied it! The soft "shell" pink background, is glorious. If you are only buying one scarf this season, I have to agree with you that this one is #1!! There are so many wonderful colorways of this design, too. Each one has its own personality. I could easily talk myself into a few more of this design, but I must refrain!!!
ENJOY your new scarf! I came back to add that your leather Chain d' Ancre scarf ring is so cool! I have to get one of those!!! (I have the horn version, so I am glad I can copy your first two photos to tie my Bottes the same way as you!)
I came back AGAIN, to add that I love how you have gathered the scarf to eliminate a lot of the blank space in three of your pics! I want to try all of these that you tied using your scarf ring. Thank you for the photos and the inspiration!
It was you!! Yes! I had this memory of how great it was in pics and had to see for myself. I love it but love it more with the leather chain d’ancre . It’s perfect for it! And I think I will get the most use of this ring than any other to be honest. It was a lot of money in my opinion though. My total bill was shocking. This is why it will be my only 90. From this season, I kept one 140 w chorus, this 90, and the lilac 55 etoile. I am on a 70, 45, and twilly ban but I am struggling to not give into BdG fleurs light blue twilly ha. But it’s gone from online so maybe I am saved.

Isn't it funny when we all let out a sigh of relief when something is sold out? I am truly shocked by the prices as well. My very first scarf was 375 dollars from the Hermes boutique! I am so glad you got that scarf and the leather scarf ring! They really are perfect together! Your 140 and 55, along with your 90 are beautiful selections for this season.

Here's Tous en Selle in CW8 (I believe it was requested some posts ago). Pretty accurate to H rendering. It's in shop so I will try to go down to the boutique tomorrow and try IRL myself. I do think it's gorgeous but concerned about how it ties. Only one way to find out...

WOW! The gator saddle on the top row looks so realistic! I love how intricate the details are on these saddles! I must look away, as not to be tempted by this gorgeousness. (However, I will continue to look at your pretty pictures, along with others' contributions.:loveeyes::heart:🤩)

Went to the boutique to look at Tous en Selle CW08 IRL and it is beautiful but, as I feared, it loses a lot of its charm when tied (for me, at least). I may order online to play with it at home as I can return (can only exchange boutique purchases here). See post #935 above for full design. Quickly snapped some modeling shots but was very uncomfortable as was with an unknown SA that was rushed and made me feel rushed. She was polite but the vibe wasn't conducive to trying or buying. I needed to play more to see which knots highlight the saddles, if any, because here I get mostly the lines of the case and it is just not one I may reach for, despite its beauty. At current price points and with my personal collection size, I feel more empowered to walk away.

Thank you for the mods. I was really excited for this cw but I feel the same as you on how it looks tied. Even basic bias fold is meh.

How timely! It just appeared on the Canadian site and I thought of checking TPF first and found your beautiful pictures! I love the depth of the colours and just the pop of gold and animal print, but am also mindful of the prominent lines when tied on bias. It gives it almost a nautical feel so maybe will go well with spring creams, navy and Breton stripes...? I am tempted to try it. Thank you so much @julian.f for sharing modelling pictures!

The colors are beautiful IRL. I think that a couple of years ago I'd have snapped it up. Now I no longer buy designs that are simply beautiful, they have to tie well for me. But if you do give it a go, maybe if you (or anyone else out there with this design) can come with some knots that highlight the gorgeous saddles, I'd welcome the inspiration! I did find that the best look was draped and, unfortunately, I never wear scarves that way. But if you do, you won't be disappointed. FYI the sweater I have on in the mod pics is cream, albeit not bright. It worked well.

Thanks for the photos. And I bolded a quote of yours because I feel the exact same way. I have purchased and returned a lot of H scarves this last year. It requires much more for me to keep now in the H scarf collection life.
