Cross posting from SOTD, a mod shot of my new Brides de Gala en Fleurs (07) with its complementary twilly. The minute I saw these together I thought I might try this new-to-me way of tying a 90!

Another glorious and artistically styled Hermes silks by our Lovely LKBNOLA! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you combined the BdG en Fleurs twilly and 90cm! So creative!!!! ( I need to see which twillys and 90's I have that match!) This needs to be in an Hermes booklet.

So sweet, LKB!

They go beautifully together and make a soft, romantic duo. So pretty with your sweater. Congratulations on your choices.💙
Thank you all for the comments-- always so nice to receive  when you try something new! I know that one "knock" on this new BdG is the wide border, but honestly, the border colors are so very pretty in all the cws that I did not mind it all in person. Even so, twilly tie helps to minimize the width!

Hello, all. I have finally been in one place long enough for my scarves and me to catch up to one another! Sharing some mod shots of two pieces -- almost my last of the season. I am technically on both a 70s and a neutrals ban but I rationalized that a 70 double face is a new format and H does not make many scarves in the beautiful marron glacé color, so I am free on technicalities. I love the whimsy and finesse-like quality of Please Hold the Line and I am old enough to remember actual telephone lines on a Princess phone my sister and I shared! Don't think we have seen either of these cws so I hope this is helpful!
Concours d'Etriers Remix, which has a "summery side" and a moodier side, all lightened up by the border and hem...

Dear LKBNOLA, congratulations :flowers:- and again you have chosen scarves and wear them as if they were made for you.
It's so impressive to me that you seem to be able to wear pretty much all colours / cws and designs and on top you tie all scarves in such a way that it makes me want to rush out and buy ... The marron glacé looks so good on you! Thank you for sharing!

Thnk you so much dear @Pivoine66! It is nice to have the time to "get to know" the newer ones! I am so happy you enjoyed the photos and I do, more now than ever, try to pick cws that are unique for my collection-- like marron glacé! 🙏 🧡 🟧

Thank you all for posting so many pics- it’s so helpful and entertaining to see what’s entering your scarf collections. After a rather underwhelming phase, my H addiction is back….I added Thalassa in CW 10 and couldn’t be happier. It ties beautifully with the stripes. I attach comparison pics with chai/ rouge H/rouge casaque/etoupe/nata, which all don’t match exactly, but good enough for me. Also a comparison with sous le Charme d’orphée for the background colour, which is indeed very similar.
Hope this is helpful:smile:

I absolutely love this combination of colours as well as the design. Congrats! I think you will get a lot of wear out of it. I nearly purchased it myself - it really is stunning in real life and highly recommended if these colours appeal. In the end, I decided not to purchase and your pictures are making me rethink that decision. For me, it is nothing more than I like for my pieces to have a clear design when tied, whereas Thalassa - when tied - looks mostly geometric (at least in my most go to knots). And those are the CSGMs I reach for the least. But really, I wonder if I'm making a mistake because it is just so very, very stunning and you style it beautifully!

Thanks so much for your kind words! It’s really interesting how differently we all approach scarf designs- give me a good stripe and I‘m happy:) For me, all the „comic“ designs were a total pass, so I‘m glad to see some older designs coming back. Of course, such a shawl is less versatile than a multi-coloured one- yet I‘m a neutral girl at heart. Only get what you really love and if your first instinct was a „no“, then it’s maybe not for you:) No harm in trying it again, though 😉

Beautiful selections and I really appreciated/enjoyed seeing your stylings and the comparison photos with the colors! Congratulations on two beauties @Chinglish2015! I too love the classic designs and fell for Thalassa (in noir) and the same Orphee as well. Also I am so happy for you you found some thing to love! Dry spells are hard but it is nice when they end with a flourish!

Hey everyone. Been a bit away, busy with work and some trips. Went to the store today to check the Philatelist, they had 3 colors. The details are amazing, and this is the best color, still deciding if I should wait for the other 3 or pick this one up. With the price increases I’ve decided to only get one per season, so still between this and the Bottes in black. Completely different scarves and pros and cons on both.
