This FOREVER is 88.5cm sq, not 90. So much for the FOREVERs being identical to the oldies ... not that the older ones were ever EXACTLY 90cm. I spot checked ONE OTHER ONE on h.com - it too is 88.5. Sacre bleu ! 88.5 is the new 90!
They must have gotten a new ruler....

This is the "alternate" option of the bright R/W/B colorway that has yet to be spotted IRL. There definitely is a red white blue and black version. It would probably look GREAT on me because of the clear, bright colors on it, but there is just too much "baggage" inherent in a RWB scarf for me to be comfortable in it.

They made 2 RWB based options and while I think their money could have been better spent with fewer options and better color combinations, if RWB is a combo that is not in your wheelhouse for what ever the reason, this one is just "off RWB" :lol: enough to make it work. There's also a blue orange and natural one coming too. And really, those 3 could have been collapsed down in to 1 or 2 scarves and been just fine.

Seriously though, if they had just thought a little harder about what was going to show when tying the things! On the etoupe one, if the foliage had been outlined in black and then a color, instead of just black and grey, and rooster plumage done with red and grey or red and black, it could have been a stand out and STILL fit the men's category just fine. If this one (CW 11) had actually used a pink for the foliage interior and the hem so that from far away it was recognizable as a different color, it could have been a slam dunk home run and been a great unisex scarf. So as I said before, there's a WHOLE lot of "didn't try hard enough" going on with H. Some simple, thoughtful changes could have made some really STELLAR scarves this season, instead of a few knockouts and a lot of well, I like but would it have been better if....And they could have just released 4 colorways that were well thought through instead of stabbing at it with 1 great color on each scarf and a few "what were they thinking" colors and then releasing 5-6 colorways that are middle of the road.

Well, @bunnycat, I vote for cw 05 on you. It has a sophisticated look to me, with those gray feathers, that you seem to pull off with ease. CW 11 is attractive if just looking at the scarf alone, but it’s in the wearing and tying of the scarf on you that 5 edges out 11. IMO. Good luck with this decision!

Edited to say that no pun was intended about pulling off feathers! Without the commas the sentence would have indicated you are going to cook said rooster! It reminds me of the book title ”Eats Shoots and Leaves” - The meaning of which changes if one adds commas after Eats and Shoots. 😆

i can relate @labelo! I waited too, then finally on 12/30 I ordered what was indicated as the last kaki cw on H.com and only received the email that my order was being reviewed. Then days go by… and nothing. When I go to my account it indicates the order is “in preparation “. So we shall see. Perhaps that means they are restocking it? Fingers crossed.

If you really like this look, you should check some handicarfts from Romania/Carpathian mountains. They can embroider a LOT of flowers at a tiny fraction of what H charges for this bandana - with beads and all:) just sayin'...:) I think charging $2000 USD for this is really an overkill....

For 495 euros instead of 460 yesterday
Soulless designs for the most part and mediocre colorways.
I call that "highway robbery", a favorite expression of a good friend of mine.

The scarf is 96.7 percent size of previous one based on square footage.
