Good morning everyone. One side benefit of being housebound with a virus is that you can play with your new scarves! Here are my selections for SS24 (excluding Hermes Flagship, which is in the Gift Vault). In spring and summer, I wear mostly grey, light blue, very pale pink, light camel, faded denim and tons of white. I anticipate that each of these will be great with all those colors and of course, Mystere in this cw will pair beautifully with black, too. I am also pleased because these colors are not over-represented at all in my closet and I think they are eye catching as well. As for Boubleries, I know the GT format and recent design offerings have been frustrating but for me, living in a beach community that is pretty informal, the bright blue triangle with its slightly nautical feel is a really good choice.
Precious Paradise cw 01
Diagonal Fold and Bias Fold and below an actual knot-- it is a shame to let a hem like this go to waste so an Edot Knot is perfect to showcase it-- as would many others...

Here is my selection of Mystere au 24 (07) mastic/rose poudre/gris bleute. This scarf is a lot of fun to play with -- trying to show the various elements: the running dogs, the fox, the bookcase, the black(?!) cat and the phone off the hook... It looks especially pretty in the bib knots and this cowl knot, I think...

And finally, the GT Bouclerie Moderne en Casaque in the cw 01 caban/orange/vert. This has also been sequestered to the Gift Vault :winkiss:

And for the color nerds among us, here is a photo of three scarves all called khaki: Lazy Leopardesses, L'Intrus and Precious Paradise. Phew! I think I can safely say I have no color/design duplicates among these!

Thank you for letting me share. I hope my choices can help some others on their way to the season!
GORGEOUS, all. Get well soon, dear! xox

Do we know if there’s a bubblegum pink CW of the Chiens Parisiens or the Precious Paradise Twilly ? ….I'm also still praying daily for any small format of Tatouages Marins, but hope is fading. 🙁

Here is a quick shot of Tatouages Marins Bandana 140 CSGM cw 04 Marine Clair / Blanc. I took the photo in front of a window in natural light but darkened the photo to get it closer to its actual colors as it looked royal blue in the photo, which it is not IMO. It is a nice bright navy. The two following photos are more accurate regarding color but still the actual scarf is slightly darker IRL. It is called the same color navy as LBK’s Zoaves Bandana CSGM 140: Marine Clair. The warm color in the scarf is a what I would call a warm beige - not yellow. The white is warm white but not cream.

Hello again scarf fans. It's comparison time!

I couldn't just go without trying the other colorway that was available on the US site of the rooster scarf. I am now officially refusing to write all those ooooos and heretofore calling it The Rooster Scarf. I think with this scarf, my poultry platter box in the scarf collection is checked.

The colorway I just got in a surprise delivery last night (Thanks FedEx!) is colorway 11 marine/bordeaux/naturel and I've taken a few more mods shots for a direct comparison with the other colorway I have tried out CW 05 etoupe/rouge/orange

On the comparison pics for the CW 11 to the website images I'd say the red has a more pink tinge in their images than IRL. IRL to me it is bordeaux and lighter bordeaux, but on the web it looks pinker than it is like a raspberry color and it isn't (sadly...I would have loved that...). Anyway, the lighter blue is a lovely vibrant blue with a teal tinge to it. The darker blue (marine) to me is a warm navy shade with a bit of a greenish teal undertone to it but still recognizably navy.

The naturel is a similar naturel shade to the base of my Amazons CSGM (pictured next to it) and not quite as warm ivory as the web image shows. Definitely a warn, natural off white.

Here is the web image for CW 11:

Now I just have to make a decision, as I think I could get away with either option. And I won't be stupid enough to say I am done with Spring 24, but my wallet hopes I am.

Wow! I feared the red, white and blue might be a tad too 'red, white and blue' IYKWIM but it's lovely! Have you made room for both in your scarf vaults? Don't think there are too many beef scarves so the chicken platter category could spread out a bit if necessary

This is the "alternate" option of the bright R/W/B colorway that has yet to be spotted IRL. There definitely is a red white blue and black version. It would probably look GREAT on me because of the clear, bright colors on it, but there is just too much "baggage" inherent in a RWB scarf for me to be comfortable in it.

They made 2 RWB based options and while I think their money could have been better spent with fewer options and better color combinations, if RWB is a combo that is not in your wheelhouse for what ever the reason, this one is just "off RWB" enough to make it work. There's also a blue orange and natural one coming too. And really, those 3 could have been collapsed down in to 1 or 2 scarves and been just fine.

Seriously though, if they had just thought a little harder about what was going to show when tying the things! On the etoupe one, if the foliage had been outlined in black and then a color, instead of just black and grey, and rooster plumage done with red and grey or red and black, it could have been a stand out and STILL fit the men's category just fine. If this one (CW 11) had actually used a pink for the foliage interior and the hem so that from far away it was recognizable as a different color, it could have been a slam dunk home run and been a great unisex scarf. So as I said before, there's a WHOLE lot of "didn't try hard enough" going on with H. Some simple, thoughtful changes could have made some really STELLAR scarves this season, instead of a few knockouts and a lot of well, I like but would it have been better if....And they could have just released 4 colorways that were well thought through instead of stabbing at it with 1 great color on each scarf and a few "what were they thinking" colors and then releasing 5-6 colorways that are middle of the road.

Well there's some excellent food for thought as I contemplate the upcoming price increase . I've been waiting for the pendulum to swing back from the strong primary colors the past few seasons, but I don't think SS2024 is quite in my wheelhouse. Dunno, maybe there's a shift in personnel in the scarf department.....

To me they need to try a little harder to understand some men are buying from the "women's" color line of some scarves and also women are probably becoming a significant contender for men's category scarves. I have liked several these past few seasons from men's but I just can't with the dull colorways. I can only put so many of those in my scarf drawer!

I may just have to toss a coin on the rooster scarf as to which one stays. :) I like the design (for personal sentiment) really well, and it is actually designed well (since it is Alice Shirley) but H dropped the ball on colors choices all across the board again.

I know that I nitpick, but harumpppfff, this one is 1.5 cm smaller !!!
This FOREVER is 88.5cm sq, not 90. So much for the FOREVERs being identical to the oldies ... not that the older ones were ever EXACTLY 90cm. I spot checked ONE OTHER ONE on h.com - it too is 88.5. Sacre bleu ! 88.5 is the new 90!
They must have gotten a new ruler....
