Hi all! Usually I read along and admire all of your purchases but now I have something to share myself This week I received the Jungle Love square 70! I was a bit hesitant to order because I only have square 90’s but I was so in love with the colors and print that I decided to go for it and I’m happy I did there are many cute animals hidden in the design and I love the variety between the panter print and the flower print.

Excuse my sweater, I was so excited I forgot to change to something more decent/more matching I also need a different scarf ring, this one for the square 90 is too big but that will make a fun next purchase!

Le Jardin des Peintres CW5
I actually really liked this. The difference between the two sides really adds something here, and I liked the riot of bright yellows and reds around the neck when you tie it. But I'm holding out for the white/green CW8, which kinda reminds me of the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel banana leaf wallpaper.



After that I tried two CWs of Costume de Fete.... which, I have to say, is an absolute stunner in person. They had the cyclamen CW up on the wall in the store and I could have just spent hours staring at it. Incredibly beautiful design. I like both CWs I tried. Though I have to say, the blue (while an incredible color) is a LOT. I feel like that scarf might be too loud for any outfit? Which one does everyone prefer?

I will definitely buy one of these two CWs. I might however end up framing this rather than wearing it, just to enjoy the design more...

The Peintres is lovely. I think the lighter colourway will look great with your colouring. I loved your reference to the BHH wallpaper, It’s true in a most becoming way. I thought the black/curry/green colourway of Costume De Fete looked best on you.

I just received Chevaloscope 04 (Nacre/vert/muticolore). I love yellow and love the yellow border, but I am unsure about the nacre bass colour of the scarf. I find it somehow unattractive.. if only it was white…

I took some foto’s with different tops. What do you guys think?

I think the cyclamen cw looks stunning on you! I know you’ve been grappling with it, but given how much you love the piece itself I vote for keeping it. Maybe it just feels too much out of your comfort zone but I really like it on you and it is a gorgeous scarf IRL.

I am set on buying only one 90 from each season. I will continue collecting scarves from each season and I foresee my collection getting out of control if I buy everything I love.

I am torn between the Chevaloscope and Le Carnival des Animaux. I didn’t like how the animals looked in carnival, but you ladies wear it so well and I can’t stop thinking about it. As for Chevaloscope, I love the blush pink background of one of the color ways. I don’t have any pink scarves and I feel this would be a good way to start adding some pink. Plus I love the design. It’s unique and not too busy when worn.

Which one would you pick?

IMHO, I think the cyclamon is too blue-pink and too overwhelming on you

I’m really loving Costume de Fete (waiting to see what cw 11 looks like!) and Rayures d’Ete (01). I really, really need to focus on learning to tie before I buy yet another scarf but you all make them look so tempting!

Usually pastels do not love me back. I looooooove all the colour combinations in this design. Posting for anyone interested in how it works with fair/medium colouring.

Both are stunning @Smae-ze -- I have a very slight preference for the cream/black on you (and I am biaesd because I love the mauve-- it was my first choice). Both are completely suited to your skin tone and look lovely on you.

One is totally in your wheelhouse/comfort zone but both are beautiful on you @Maedi! Costumes would be a lovely and unusual "bright" in your collection and it would shine if you picked up some of the lovely greens and blues in the vest. Also ivory and camel would be lovely neutral options-- (have a look at the Tea Time scarf with the cyclamen panel and neutral-ish background for ideas!). Of course you would totally rock that mauve cw that I picked but I can tell you from my love of the bright pink Duo Cosmique-- which was way out in left field for me at the time, that a bright can be a really great addition! This scarf is also very easy to tie to minimize the bright field. I hope this little analysis helps. You and I so ften coincide in our tastes, despite our different coloring.

I fell in love with that Peintres for all the reasons that you give @ajaxbreaker. For you I love that one and the yellow Costumes de Fete. Of course I'd love that green Peintres also-- all the cws are stunners and this double has as @Maedi puts it two "convincing" sides so worth the $$

A scarfie after my own heart! I purchased Rayures in 01 (posted some pics earlier) and I too would love to see Costumes 11-- hoping it is different enough from 06 (the mauve) to justify a multiple! We all are always trying to improve our knotting skills too @jimmyshoogirl...Can't wait to see what you get.

I think you are leaning towards the Chevaloscope. The pink sounds dreamy!! I have the white background Chevaloscope and LOVE IT! I am waiting for spring to wear it. When is Tulipomania by Aline Honore show up? I can't wait for that one!

I LOVE Tulipomania, but I gave up waiting for it to show up lol. When it does, I might break my rule for that one. It is so so gorgeous!
