Hi everyone, need your help on this.
I just received Chevaloscope 04 (Nacre/vert/muticolore). I love yellow and love the yellow border, but I am unsure about the nacre bass colour of the scarf. I find it somehow unattractive.. if only it was white…

I took some foto’s with different tops. What do you guys think?

I can see the strong appeal @redheaddem -- it is most successful on tops 1 and 6 where the base color does not blend too much as @makescarvesgreatagain just said, and I think this scarf will shine if you match the top to colors within the horse head portraits or to a stronger color in the border (and a lippie too will help). I know you are not alone in finding so much of a neutral base on a scarf difficult to work with. Having said all that, if after 29 days living with it and trying it on different tops, you aren't in love-- send it back! $480 is way too much to spend to work that hard! It is wonderful when it is love at unboxing, but sometimes a scarf has to rise as @Snausages says...

My first scarf from the new season, Et Gris Gris from the Men’s side in naturel/taupe/beige. Love the neutral tones that allow me to indulge in my love for the whimsical without raising eyebrows at the office

I think it blends in too much with the tops you are wearing. Maybe try darker or brighter color tops with it. I also am a believer in trust your first instinct. If you don’t love it, try a different color way. Just my opinion!

I decided it's going back. I need to be good and stick to only one colorway - I think "the one" will be the Noir/Bleu azur for me.

Well - I need to edit. (lol) I pulled it out and it really appeals to me this morning.
Thank goodness I have 30 days to decide.

Definitely more beige. The second and third photos on the online store are closer to how it looks in real life than the photo on the model. I’ll try to see if I have good lighting to take a photo of it next to something white tomorrow

If you have any doubt, it means that it is not really you. You will most certainly find a colorway which makes your heart sing. Green, light orange or red would look lovely with your hair color. If there is any doubt, let it go back to the store. Disappointment at €460 is much too expensive

I quite like the base - it reminds me of ivory, but it may look better with a more contrasting top. Try raspberry or blue to bring out some of the other colours in the scarf and it will look completely different.

Edit: agree with what others have said that if you try with different tops and still don’t love it, it’s not the right colourway for you.

Looking at the scarf next to your face/skin tone & ignoring the colour of the top you're wearing, IMO I don't think the nacre does anything for you. I would return it.

I just received my Cheval Punk losange and to my surprise, it does not have a paper tag attached to the care tag. Is this normal? I want to make sure I don’t have an issue returning it because of the missing paper tag. I need to return it because of its disappointing condition as shown in below photos.

Wow, H.com is pretty horrible. They responded to my email saying that their distribution center confirmed that the scarf was a “new unit” so they can’t offer refund or exchange at this time! I’m like what the heck? I can return within the return period as long as I am returning it in the exact same condition it was delivered to me! Absolutely horrible CS!

I think it is a lovely soft color palette and look on you. I think it works with your complexion. So funny how we all see different things. I have struggled greatly with the scarf base colors of white, ivory, silver, cream and what to wear with them. Greatly! It took me 2 years to get comfortable. I like 1 and 6 with how the scarf pops off those colors more, softly popping is A-ok with me. Can’t always be a drama pop.
I really love the ties in 3 and 5!! All that color showing. If you put on a top that pulled that color showing in those ties then I think it would be stunning!!

I’m like what the heck? I can return within the return period as long as I am returning it in the exact same condition it was delivered to me! Absolutely horrible CS!

I mean you notified them immediately after arrival to you about no tag and the pull right? This is crazy. Doesnt seem possible. This isn’t unheard of in their world. It has happened to other people who have received an imperfect scarf. It does happen

Yup, I took photos of the flaws within 30 mins after it was delivered! Then took me another 10 mins to email them the photos! Well, it is on its way back to them as I already dropped off the package the following day. I also just called their 1800 rep to complain about this. So we will see, but this really turns me off.

You are returning it in the exact same condition that it was delivered to you. I'd go on-line and request a refund. Put the details in the comment section, and send it back.
