Well, there's just no sending it back now. It's a keeper. Like what scarf could possibly look better paired with your top or jacket? I cannot imagine one.

If you have any doubt, it means that it is not really you. You will most certainly find a colorway which makes your heart sing. Green, light orange or red would look lovely with your hair color. If there is any doubt, let it go back to the store. Disappointment at €460 is much too expensive

I quite like the base - it reminds me of ivory, but it may look better with a more contrasting top. Try raspberry or blue to bring out some of the other colours in the scarf and it will look completely different.

Edit: agree with what others have said that if you try with different tops and still don’t love it, it’s not the right colourway for you.

Looking at the scarf next to your face/skin tone & ignoring the colour of the top you're wearing, IMO I don't think the nacre does anything for you. I would return it.

I think it is a lovely soft color palette and look on you. I think it works with your complexion. So funny how we all see different things. I have struggled greatly with the scarf base colors of white, ivory, silver, cream and what to wear with them. Greatly! It took me 2 years to get comfortable. I like 1 and 6 with how the scarf pops off those colors more, softly popping is A-ok with me. Can’t always be a drama pop.
I really love the ties in 3 and 5!! All that color showing. If you put on a top that pulled that color showing in those ties then I think it would be stunning!!

Agreed, I don't like the nacre background either. There is a CW with a white background, maybe you could exchange for that?

Thank you all for your very useful comments. It is so nice to read all your thoughts and tips. I tried today with almost every top I own, but I still do not love it. I will return it and try an other CW.

I tried the same CWs. Ordered the blue and black Costume de Fête (and the pink!) and got the blue Jardin de peintres from your last picture.
I am also waiting for the turquoise Carnaval des Animaux. All the other color ways are also so beautiful!
I wasn’t convinced on the Chevaloscope in person. It seemed too busy and the small horses didn’t get the attention they deserve.
Did you have a look at Tea for 2? I wasn’t totally in love with the colors.
Are you planning on getting others? They look great on you!

Tea for 2 was not arrived yet. They had a lot of chevaloscope. Usually, I don't like scarves with square patterns. Proportions for this one are not ok for me.
I asked for Rdv galant but the color I was looking for wasn't avaible...

I just received Chevaloscope 04 (Nacre/vert/muticolore). I love yellow and love the yellow border, but I am unsure about the nacre bass colour of the scarf. I find it somehow unattractive.. if only it was white…

Try the corail one (I don't remember the cw number). Or the blue. You need more intense colors

Such wonderful mod shots @Coco2606! I have the Animaux - Vert which I wore today and will post, but I think your photos have much better lighting and especially that first one of the Animaux - Vert is quite accurate. I am glad to see the last one as I have been twondering about it, and I am considering the Chevaloscope in the light pink or the vivid pink. Thank you for posting these!

I am kind of over the moon with this happy vibrant shawl! It arrived today as a charge/send from Dallas (always risky when you haven't actually seen it IRL) with thanks to @Snausages for the alert. But I was looking for a bright summer cashmere and I love this artist's work-- and the casual beach vibe. It did not disappoint. Definitely has this seasons colors (cyclamen, bleu azure, orange)! Thanks, it looks different in the website though, more like white. I prefer the color to be more beige-y just like yours. Does it look more white or beige in person?

Definitely more beige. The second and third photos on the online store are closer to how it looks in real life than the photo on the model. I’ll try to see if I have good lighting to take a photo of it next to something white tomorrow

We have been having some cloudy days in a row so the colours are not the most accurate, but hope this comparison with a white t shirt and H dustbag helps to show it is certainly a beige base =)
