I am kind of over the moon with this happy vibrant shawl! It arrived today as a charge/send from Dallas (always risky when you haven't actually seen it IRL) with thanks to @Snausages for the alert. But I was looking for a bright summer cashmere and I love this artist's work-- and the casual beach vibe. It did not disappoint. Definitely has this seasons colors (cyclamen, bleu azure, orange)! With apologies for a gray sweater and the wrong lipstick-- here are some quick try-on shots of Rayures d'Ete (01). Some corners and a bias fold...

YES!!! This design has captured me from the moment I saw it on the thread. Amazing how diff it can look in diff ties. Congratulations! I am on a csgm ban for prob a year now but I am very tempted by cw 12! This design has such a laid back vibe that is irresistible.

What a wonderful surprise! That ties like a dream I have to say, the design flat didn't grab me much, but now that I see it folded.... eeep. Goodbye $$$$$ I think I may need this one. It reminds me of happy vacations and time spent at the beach.

Wow!!! This one does look better tied....I haven't purchased a shawl in ages! It looks like a whole different scarf based on the ties! I hope you are keeping it @LKBNOLA

My first scarf for the season, thanks to LKBNOLA for the mod shots! I'm glad I waited for this one, I was looking at getting Springs Springs from last season...I found it had an almost similar motif. So pleased it goes well even with a black top.

Hermes CS in the US called me back a few minutes ago. They had a production problem with the mirrors for Les Anamorphoses in the US and they expect to send them out in mid-February. Of course, you can return the scarf for a refund, if you wish. I opted to wait for the mirror.

When husband messages... "Something showed up from Paris! Not literal Paris I am sure, but you know what I mean" .... I rushed home to discover this! To be honest, the first thing I noticed right out of the box: The threads seem much more fine /soft than other CSGMs I have. It already had one little pill ball. Oof. This one feels *very* delicate... each year the CSGMs seem thinner and thinner. Evenso, it remains my favorite format, and I love the soft, springy colors in this one. I tried it with black first and it did not work. The longer I wore it with my oatmeal sweater, the more I loved it. Keeping! My curious newfie came by to see what the commotion was.

It is mousseline de soie. Yes, it is much lighter. For summer, but not exclusively.

Honestly, @MAGJES I bought the mauve in the boutique and it was love at first sight. Then I thought I wanted a second cw and ordered every single one I could. The curry will not work for me but I tried all the other available ones. Pretty sure all are going back though each one is beautiful in its way...

Oh, I am so glad to have a twin! This scarf is fabulous and it is amazingly versatile. It goes with every jacket, denim shirt, black tops, white. I am in love with this new interpretation of a classic design with its mythological overtones and extremely fresh palette. The anthracite background is really great. Congratulations @mktlim.
