It looks wonderful on you. I adore the beige hem and the prominent dark yellow sun. Fab with all your outfits and pearls.
Thank you, Maedi. That dark yellow color, which I called medium brownish orange earlier, is apparently the Hermès color of the season. An interesting challenge is to find a S/S 2023 scarf that doesn’t contain that color. All four of my new scarves have it, even the red/black Tea for Two.

Here are mod shots for Le Carnaval des Animaux, CW09, bleu jean/vert/beige.

I also posted these mod shots in the Scarf of the Day thread. I find that this colorway has a lot of dark tones and pairs well with my winter wardrobe.

A scarf that works with so many tops and necklaces is definitely a winner.
Wonderful to get a sneak peak at this, thank you! I have this one on order. It was down to this colorway or the bleu / turquoise #3.

Happy New Year to all!!

How many of you often buy the same scarf pattern in different colorways? I am currently looking at the Blue and Cyclamen Costume de fête 01 and 03. They are both beautiful and I cannot decide! Three weeks ago, I got 2 scarves En Liberté (bleu azur and the aubergine one)... Just curious as to others are also doing that...!
Oh my, maybe an easier number to find would be how many of us DON’T do multiples of the same scarf in different colorways

Early on in my collecting days I didn’t repeat as I was building my collection. But now in different cw’s… I have 3 Animapolis, 3 C’est La fete, 3 chorus stellarum, 2 cosmograohia and …..hmm. Jan Bajtlik and Daiske Nomura definitely ”get me”. And given that H sometimes has limited pieces, and they go fast, I’ve learned to buy what I love early if possible. Of course 2 exact twillys for B handles. I think I’ll decline to count. Great question though, I say embrace it!!:flowers:

I definitely do this (ahem...On the Beach x 4), and am currently in the process of narrowing down multiples of Le Carnaval des Animaux. Will be spamming many more pics here over the next few days!

Looks fantastic on you and we're twins on this one! My absolute fav colorway of them all - it's a perfect combo for me of design, colors and that hem :faint:

This one is also a keeper for me...

And finally, the first one going back: the green cw 08. Lovely but some of the colors are a bit too bold for me.

The turquoise is gorgeous and I'm surprised that the green is going back. Glad to be twins on the bleu jean, and thank you for the excellent pictures.

Thank you for sharing! Once again I am surprised at how different the online shots look compared to real life especially for that #3. It's more subdued than it initially appeared.

Thanks for these photos RBH - I have this one in my cart on h.com.
It looks great with the various tan/brown tops and especially the gray.

You look great! Still debating whether I should buy this design since the animals look silly, especially the cross-eyed lion. Thanks for sharing!

The 1st and 2nd look wonderful on you and agree the 3rd one is quite bold! I do love it though. Still trying to decide on a colorway.

Thank you both - the green is strikingly beautiful but overall the colors don't work as well with my wardrobe (lots of blues/greys/neutrals). I do love a green hem to wear with my vert jade Kelly WTG, but I'm leaning towards the Rendez-vous Galant 70 in cw 03 to satisfy that.

ETA: @ShadowComet yeah the lion's eyes are are an interesting artistic choice :whut: Good thing I have zero scarf tying skills and the simple bias fold + knot doesn't usually display that part of the design!

I purchased the bright 08 in Carnival of the Animals and am contemplating at least one more. Yes, the animals look "silly" but for a reason. That music on the stand, "Carnival of the Animals" was written by Camille Saint-Saens, but what I didn't know until I did some research is that Saint-Saens did not want this work performed during his lifetime because he thought it was frivolous and might taint his reputation as a serious composer. But clearly he did not destroy it! When the piece was finally performed, it was met with great success and "Carnival of the Animals" is one of his best known compositions. The animals in the scarf are the animals represented in his music, with, of course, the artist's playful interpretation of Saint-Saens musical fun. You can find the orchestral versions on YouTube, and read on the web about why he composed the music--Wikipedia (The Carnival of the Animals) is a good place to start. Knowing the story behind the silly animals--which I wouldn't normally buy--made all the difference for me and now I will think of the music when I wear the scarf.
