Hi all. I have a question- has anyone seen colorway 2 of costume de fete? It is some bluish greenish colorway? There doesn’t seem to be any pictures anywhere but the SA said he saw the number in the system with no pic.
I got to try on several costumes de fetes. I didn’t have a lightening bolt like I expected. But I am definitely getting one!
what do you all think? I think I am choosing between a ‘pretty” colorway of 05 w cream center and navy blue border and an h magic color combo of 03 fuschia W golds. It may not be worn as much but the colors are striking. Not sure goes with my complexion? I tried on @LKBNOLA ’s gris/mauve periwinkle one which is so very pretty but dull on me. And the bright blue one which feels too bright on me. As SA said, it is ‘the show’ on me. It also has too much highlighter orange and yellow for me. Tho I really wanted to love that one ‘on me’. If I framed I would definitely get the bright blue one.

Found the Robocabar mens scarf that is included on this spring/summer 2023 "special scarf" in the bottom row all the way to the right. Strangely the artist says it's an AW 2023/2024 design?

This must be an error on his part, it's certainly part of this season and is already showing up on a couple of the international H sites.

Dear @Nomad, you’ve had some great advice already, so I’ll just add that I think the two choices you have narrowed down to are the right ones for you, from this selection.
The navy/cream is certainly very versatile, good for any occasion, and will no doubt pair easily with much of your wardrobe; it’s a classic choice, with a lovely folkloric feel. It would be one I would choose for myself. The fuchsia, however, makes YOU look radiant.

Like you, I can be very cerebral about my choices, and sometimes have to pause a moment to remind myself that sometimes the right choice is the one that speaks to the heart, or that just works. The fuschia enhances your natural beauty and makes you the star. With a strong design, that can be harder to achieve. For these reasons, if you’re limiting yourself to one, I’d give my vote to the pink. If you can stretch to both, I think it’s a no-brainer though. They are both fabulous on you, are different enough to fill completely different niches in your wardrobe and use, and you’ve proven that you’re easily able to rehome one later if needed.

I did want to clarify that the one I have been calling navy blue (cream) in the last picture is apparently a black border!! It is this one and it is colorway 5 called MB/noir/creme/bleu multicolore. To me, the black border of cw 5 was lighter than the brights cw (pic 1, cw 1) which is also black ”noir”, so much so that I thought cw 5 was a dark navy blue. But it isn’t. So sorry to create any confusion! So far there seem to be 3 with “noir”: cw 1 the blue n brights, cw 5 cream pretty, and cw 4 the curry border/black center.

I bought the first one (cw 1) but possibly plan to buy a 2nd one as I love this design. The pink one looks beautiful on you.

2 scarves arrived on Saturday but no modeling shots as I also got diagnosed with the flu last Friday even though I had my vaccine in October and have been super careful. I forgot how miserable the flu can be and luckily got to urgent care right away and on Tamiflu and I am just feeling a tad better today. Everyone please be careful - there is so much sickness out there.

These are photos of Costumes in cw1 from my SA and online photos of double face Le Jardins des Peintres cw5. They are both absolutely stunning IRL. I wear a lot of black and neutrals so these will work so well for me. The Batik is such a beautiful homage to his heritage and the detail is amazing and I covet some additional cw's down season perhaps.

This is also my first double face scarf. I love the pattern and the juxtaposition of the cws on each side. The bright side immediately reminded me of a Warhol and the soft palette of the tropics where I wish I was right now sitting under a swaying palm tree instead of in the cold bitter winter.

I will post mod shots when I am feeling better. Happy holiday and all the best in 2023 to everyone.

The two you have selected for yourself are the most wonderful against your complexion. I was so close to ordering the bright blue cw as I, too, gravitate toward the more intensely colored scarves-- that is until I saw you in that marvelous fuschia one. So thank you for trying it on and sharing it with all of us here!
