ooh, I hadn’t seen this one! It was giving me serious Sacre des Saison vibes (there was a 90 CW just like this)… then I noticed that these are all Pierre Marie designs in the masks! Beautiful.

Hi all. I have a question- has anyone seen colorway 2 of costume de fete? It is some bluish greenish colorway? There doesn’t seem to be any pictures anywhere but the SA said he saw the number in the system with no pic.
I got to try on several costumes de fetes. I didn’t have a lightening bolt like I expected. But I am definitely getting one!
what do you all think? I think I am choosing between a ‘pretty” colorway of 05 w cream center and navy blue border and an h magic color combo of 03 fuschia W golds. It may not be worn as much but the colors are striking. Not sure goes with my complexion? I tried on @LKBNOLA ’s gris/mauve periwinkle one which is so very pretty but dull on me. And the bright blue one which feels too bright on me. As SA said, it is ‘the show’ on me. It also has too much highlighter orange and yellow for me. Tho I really wanted to love that one ‘on me’. If I framed I would definitely get the bright blue one.

You didn't ask but...the pink one is radiant.
ETA that the navy one is beautiful, too. The darker backgrounds have a more folkloric feel for me whereas the lighter ones are an interesting juxtaposition.

Wow-- I think all of them are great but certainly the quieter navy bordered one and the fuschia are really striking. I see what you mean about the bright blue although it is fabulous on you. I am intrigued by a bright one also-- would like to see all the cws before I jump to a second one but it is such a great design...I know if it were me, I would go for the navy bordered cream and then get a second after living with it and seeing how it ties etc... I love love love the fuschia on you.

I did ask! . Was hoping for some help. thank you! Yeah I think that one will be nagging in my head to buy it haha. It has such unique colors together and it does glow. I have no idea what I would wear with it but I am going to look haha. I am also going to check my collection to see if I have any colors already in my scarves to compare with it.

Always appreciate your take. Thank you. I Wanted to love that blue/black so much. I think I love dramatic scarves in theory but not on me so much. I will prob get the second brighter colorway now and rehome if don’t love it because I am learning that it is near impossible sometimes for me to find scarves lately.

Haha. I know. It is such a special design with the folk art element. I am really trying to be discerning when adding scarves to too large a collection, so I don’t let my mind fully loose in store haha. It stays on a leash of hard rational thinking

I haven’t seen any of these in person but I’ve been struggling to also decide which cw I’d go for so thank you for modelling them, it’s super helpful.

On you and from a wearability perspective I like the cream with navy border. I get your point about the blue and how bright that is but I think it’s the most beautiful colourway for that design and it looks good on you! It would need pretty neutral clothes like the black you’re wearing.

Found the Robocabar mens scarf that is included on this spring/summer 2023 "special scarf" in the bottom row all the way to the right. Strangely the artist says it's an AW 2023/2024 design?
