Well, color me shocked. I have seen almost all of the cws of Retour A La Nature (except cw 11, which I still do want to see) and was a bit disappointed, especially because almost all of them have orange, which generally looks terrible on me. However, yesterday I finally decided to try on cw 09, Bleu Ciel/Rose Cyclamen/Orange, and to my shock I actually loved it. When I say “shock”, I mean in 26 (27?) years of buying scarves I’ve never liked an orange one (I know, I know), but the orange is mixed in with a lot of pink and it leans more pink, like tangerine, as opposed to a more yellow-orange.

Anyway, I know there are photos here, but I edited these as I took them, to match as closely as possible to what I was seeing.

This pic came the closest to my eyes. Note the pic is a just a touch bright, but that was one of the adjustments needed to make the color more accurate:

I love that the main drawn part is really a dark olive green.

One thing I wanted to try to do is emphasize the quieter parts of the design. In photos, these parts tend to disappear, but in person they’re lovely. There are MANY bits of pink mixed in with the background:

Happy Easter to all the Scarfies celebrating today! I spent the morning playing with the blue Tulipomanie and as promised some mod shots for those considering. The truest expression of the blue is definitely on optic white:
View attachment 5759761View attachment 5759762
I also quite like it on navy blue with a bold lip:
View attachment 5759765View attachment 5759766
And just for fun, I tried it on a burnt orange colored top and with stripes:

I hope these are helpful to any scarfies considering. I am thrilled to add this to my beautiful elegant argent cw. They each have a distinct vibe and will work in very different ways for me. I hope you will indulge just one more photo. Like many of you I adore tulips and was amazed by how beautifully my Anna Weatherly Old Master Tulips mug and the argent cw matched!

This blue Tulipomanie is amazing on you, @LKBNOLA! When I saw it I didn't think much of it, but you can turn any scarf into a wonder! It is so beautiful on white. Congrats!

I think it is stunning and absolutely lovely on you! Thank you so much for the close-ups-- the details on each of these are so varied and beautiful @Marie-the-Mary. I so wish I could wear this pink...Congratulations on a true beauty...
Thank you kindly! You can wear any color artfully and beautifully, @LKBNOLA! Pink is not my comfort zone either but I can contemplate and admire the scarf if I don't wear it !

This is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for posting IRL pictures. This helped me decide which one to get, was debating between 04 08 09 for a while. I think this color combo can be both bright and mute, easier to fit w my clothing. Love it!

Thank you for sharing! I'm also not a big fan of orange, but I love orange and pink together and this looks like a perfect choice for you. Really lovely! I always appreciate that you take the time to tweak your pics so that they best represent the true colors. So very helpful! :flowers:

Thank you for posting these @Notorious Pink. I too have bene having trouble finding the right CW for me and this was the one I kept gravitating to but couldn't pull the trigger but now you have convinced me. I was worried about a lot of white/cream border as I wear my scarves but I may just have to have this one. Yikes I thought I was done for this season!

Welcome here and
::waves:: Hi everyone! I’m new to the Hermes subforum and have just started dipping my toes into the wonderful world of H silks.

Here are my choices from Spring/Summer 2023 so far.

Les Jardin des Peintres in the blue cw.
View attachment 5759642

And the Chevaloscope in the pale green and coral.
View attachment 5759643

Plus the rose metal scarf ring - it goes so well with this scarf, it’s crazy.

View attachment 5759644

I tried on the Costume de Fete, the one with the lilac border which I was sure I was going to love, but I didn’t like the way it tied. Also looked at the Carnaval des Animaux in the bleu jean cw, but it seemed a little duplicative with my JdP.

So addicting!

Such amazing choices! I really love Chevaloscope!! Welcome here and yes, it is very addicting!

Here we go, @redheaddem :
First Tulipomania : pic 1 against a navy blue jumper, pic 2 with a charcoal grey jumper, pic 3 on cobalt blue, hopelessly trying to knot the scarf à la @Cookiefiend (and not succeeding, as always), pic 4 against light grey and trying to knot à la @Awillow (and not achieving it properly) and then, a few close ups on the beauties.

Thank you so much @Marie-the-Mary !!

I can see why you chose this one, it is glorious and so beautiful with the tops you combined it with. Pink can be tricky, but this is soft and bright and so happy and gorgeous! And I love the knots you made too. They look very professional to me lol.

I will definitely try this one out, congratulations!

Thank you so much for the photos! This cw and cw 05 were on my list to try. I love pink and orange together and was already very tempted by the gorgeous photos of @Marie-the-Mary and @cali_to_ny and now your photos convinced me to try this cw out as well ( I already have cw 11).

Oh wow the blue one is also really pretty on you @LKBNOLA. And you styled it so well! I actually love it on the orange and striped tops. So clever!

I never wear this kind of blue but will give it a try if I find it in store, but your silver one might be a fit for me too, I will definitely try it on me.

Thank you again for sharing your photos and enjoy your gorgeous scarfs.
